That's the case with most modules. But tweaks to vanilla configs (like ace_scopes) can not be a module option.

Are you using PwS? If so you have to remove the xxx_compat_xxx files from the addons folder, or wait for PwS to fix it.

Is there a special way to make the 'basic revive' system work? I can't seem to find much info about it on the wiki nor get it working in game.

There's a PBO for compat with RHS. Does it include the Javelin with Top Down mode? I have made it work with the Arma 3 Titan, but no luck with the RHS javelin

The PwS install seems to be broken. There are no files in the optional folder and no userconfig files for the server.hpp either. When you try to start the game up with the PwS install it gives an error about the missing server.hpp file.

Can confirm playwithsix files broken, missing files, server hangs on the arma 3 logo. Download from the first post works like a treat :)

sorry but i can barely see differences with vanila version, excepted sniper zeroing and weapon recoil. maybe because it's just released and is 40mb large, compared to 2GB ACE 2.

i will come back next year...

This mod have requires errors. HLC Weapons, CUP, ASDJ Joint Rails..... Please edit your first post and section Requires.

Did you download it via PWS? They decided to put all the optional PBOs into the addons folder.

ACE2 was 2GBs if you added ACEX. Otherwise wasn't over 100MBs if irc.

can someone explain or make a video about how gbu 12 and laser designation work together?and maybe how work the missles in the comache ace test version ?

After I lase a target (in vanilla you can see the laser when in TI or NV mode,but with ace you can not,right??)...then dropped the gbu12 but is impossible to lock on red square of the radar so....what I'm mistaking??

@ACE was 312 Mb alone.

what missing ?

- range tables

- detailed size and volume for every object in inventory

- grenade fragmentation, (current ace 3 is weak)

- real tracer effect, more consistent, more visible

- still vanila thermal camera rendering

- sounds !!

- explosion effects, missile effects, drag, trajectories... !!

- helicopter autorotation with airflow

- lack all Arma 2 weapons & vehciles (A3 ones are shit)

- Player tiredness (currently can run unlimited)

and countless other things...

I keep with ACE 2.

ACE3 best mod ever!!!

there is no lock-on for GBU in ACE, it's not automated anymore.

to guide your bomb, just enable your laser, drop your bomb and aim at your target until impact.

i know these will come progressively, but i just have difficulty to switch from A2 ACE to A3 ACE.

I keep with ACE 2.

ACE was that big because it had data, data that is not all that needed for A3 (as in sounds, the A3 is way better in that department)

b. size and volume is in A3 by default

c. already in

d. tracers in A3 are pretty ok by default, might be that reason

e. last i heard is WIP

f. not needed

g. wip

h. in vanilla A3 even on simple flight model

i. lol. You have CUP for A2 ports into A3.

j. implemented in vanilla A3.

How many of ACE2 current features were there on first release? I can tell you, was part of ACE team then, not as many as the last version.

You are not teasing, you obviously have no idea what mod making means.

If you want more or faster, ACE is open source, just join and make it.
