animal deathmatch tounge.gif

In the UK u could only go hunting if ur loaded with cash and can aford to more or less have someone walk u within range of a stag then u shoot it whoopeee confused.gif or its more or less fishing for the rest of us or shooting pests with an airgun, like rabbits, for farmers.

Are the animals you get at the butcher hunted down and shot?  I don't think so...<span id='postcolor'>

no , but they are conducted to the slaughter-house in small but overcrowded trucks , they're moved from the back of the truck with the help of electrical arks and other sticks , they're then conducted in a cold asseptised room where they're either electrocuted or their throat is cut , then their members are separated and the remains are sent to the garbages to be burnt then<span id='postcolor'>

for pigs its stunned with some electrical clamp that the guy clamps around their neck then hung upside down and then there throats are cut .

I dont how the argument that shooting for food is ok but shooting for something else isnt, some of u sem to think wild animals live in some sort of human envoiroment and not the wild where they could ddie at any time in a mannor of nasty ways confused.gif

Whoa there, maybe you should try to understand the situation before you go judging things.

Feral Pigs are a serious problem in Austrailia. They eat the food that native animals would eat. As a result of so many introduced species in Austrailia, alot of the native animals have become endangered or are now extinct.

Hunting is a good way of controling the feral population. As I understand, the army has been called on a few times to go and shoot feral animals like Pigs and Cats.

If the Australians allowed their citizens to have firearms, the farmers could do this themselves without having to call in the Army.

I have farming friends (i'm australian and friends are australian) and they really do say that pests do affect them (their farms). I used to be in the country myself and i have seen it. Some towns do go down the drain cause they (the youth) are bored sh!tless and have nothing to do (move to city for excitment or waste life on drugs in town). Again i have experienced this (the boredom). Erradicating pests (which happen to be living beings for all you vegeterian freaks) as a past-time is all for the better for everyone.

In outback Australia you go to school by radio (the School Of The Air, if you want I can get you the Freq you can have a listen) I didn’t, I lived in town population 300. My uncle’s place is 1000km from a town, his shortest fence is 30km, long his drive way is 15km long and it gets better from their.

Its not that we don’t have other sports its just that their is not enough other people to play them with. (I do now I live in the Gold Coast its south of Brisbane)

Also it’s not fun to run around playing football in 30-50deg C weather trust me on that one.

OK, i'm not saying theres no reason or need to control certain species, but lack of entertainment is no reason to start killing things. No matter how much a 'pest' the creature is or how boring the place you live in happens to be. smile.gif

Yeah,Australia has a problem with that.Seen documentaries on that,a tidal wave of mice if you opened a barn door.

And let's face it,you poison em or you shoot them, works out the same way.

The end result is the same, but the side-effects aren't. Why use deadly chemicals that can enter the food chain as predators such as birds etc. eat the mice?

Yeah that's what i meant,it's better to shoot them.

Sorry that it was unclear.

I have no problems with hunters, as long as they eat what they shoot.

"Mum, I don`t like grandpa any more! He stinks!!"

"Shut up, son! And continue eating!!"

"Mum, I don`t wanna go to New York!!"

"Shut up, son! And continue swimming!!"

I KNOW! Lets try painting: This allowdammage

"False" on every animal in the world. hehehehe I think hunting for sport is bs, and i personally love the game Deer Avenger(it's funny as hell) but if you are starving and have no food, it's kill or be killed/maimed/abused/eaten/torn up/gored/mangled/*replace with syn. for killed* biggrin.gif

BTW - Bullfighting is shit. First they wrap a rope around the bull's cock(To piss him off, i know i'd be mad if someone did that to me...). Then they send out the picadors first just to hack the shit outta the poor bull, then another wave of ppl to just beat down the bull. Finally the Matador comes out and he's left with a half-dead bull to trick into running through curtains(wow he's so good, he can get a half-dead animal to run through a red curtain!wink.gif and then the bull usually dies. How pathetic, what a horrible way to show human "superiority" over everything below it in the food chain.

And don't even get me started on the article on Bessy the Cow......

Apparently Bessy was loaded into a slaughter truck, on her horrible journey to the butcher. One of her legs were broken due to cramped spaces in pens. The truck drivers found this out when they arrived to the butcher and the cow would not get out. They tied ropes to both of its front legs, leading the the back of the truck. Then they promptly hit the gas and broke the other leg of the cow in an attempt to drag it. When the Animal Abuse officers showed up 2 hours later, they had found the cow dead, having dragged itself 20 ft to the nearest shade using only its back legs. Yea, there's human compassion and sympathy for animals....

Lonewolf, i totally agree about the bullfighting, it's horrible.  It's just like the gladiators killing innocent people a long time ago.  I would never never never NEVER go see one of those things, it's horrible and it clearly shows how much us human beings like to see blood.  If a life has to be spoiled just so some idiots can have some fun well then i can honestly say that this world is fucked.

Actually bullfighting kinda reminds me of the Taliban shooting women on those football fields.

It's the same, and don't start saying that there's a huge difference between the life of a human and the life of an animal

No one has the right to say that...

Yep, bullfighting sucks. I live in Spain and you can even watch it on tv, and bullfighters are famous and earn a lot of money. I would like to ban bullfighting.

Some animal activist groups in Spain tried to get it outlawed numerous times, but government officials defended the issue saying it's "part of Spain and its history. It's our custom and for it to be banned woluld not be right".

Uhum. Part of Spain ? A custom ? Fuck you. You don't see blacks being sold as slaves in the great U. S. of A. do ya ? that was part of our culture but at some point people realized it's just wrong.

You also don't see suspicious acting women get burned for acting like witches now do you ? Bunch of government assholes promoting animal torture.

Last one of those bull fighting videos I saw showed a bull with its horns on fire and little 10 year old girls being taught by their fathers how to break a big vine bottle over the bull's head when he's facing away. I claim an open hunting season on those bad fathers and government officials who let such things take place.

At one point you gotta realize that some customs, no matter how much part of your culture they represent are no longer morally backed.
