Tips:

 

* The intel can be hard to find as its a small item, best chances to find them is to walk around the dead bodies of the rebels.

 

* You can play the mission without finding any intel, you just have to search every building in the capture zone for the caches.

 

* The caches can only be destroyed with explosives.

 

* Save player loadout saves your current loadout as you die, so if you have used  ammo clips thats what you spawn with.

Ive enabled AI on the latest version on steam workshop.

But to your answer I will add recruitment in the next update.

 

 

 

 

Got a recruitment script working, but cant find a working script to para drop ai when you select "halo"

The steam workshop version has bugged out, it seems it fail to download everytime.

It doesnt matter how many times I try to over-write it, so anyone knows a fix for it please let me know.

High command has been enabled, you need the AI enabled and pick Commander in the list ( at the very bottom ), it was enabled several updates ago.

If thats not to your taste, let me know and I can make a version for you that suit your needs.

 

 

 

To enable High command : press ctrl + space

Sweet thank you, how would one go about changing the units to the rebel and paramilitary groups with technical's only maybe a helicopter of reinforcement and some AA?

The spawning is wierd now, as ALL the friendly AI are there in the hangar at the start.  I just want to be able to recruit a few AI for my squad.  Just limit it to 3 others, as the Bon_Recruit didnt seem to be working.

You need to disable AI when you select your slot, as its on by default.

I going to change this as I dont like it, Im working on a better version just bug testing it.

Fixed a little error, moved the vehicles spawn location.

You were spawning on top of a roof, now fixed

I found that the aircraft were spawning in a strange direction ... could we have aircraft spawn on the runway (or at least point the right direction :) ) ?

Appreciate the effort .... while you are at it, would it be possible to have a RANDOM start airport (as there are a few to choose from) ?

Are the grids not supposed to be red then green when cleared in this version or am i just not being patient enough to let the mission load? :)

 

edit: Tried using the light version and everything works great, this is just what i wanted in arma, thanks!

 

edit2: Tried hosting on a dedicated server and now the red squares wont show up, thinking this could have something to do with the loadorder of the init (https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Initialization_Order) , or maybe its just the bug with map markers that got introduced with tanoa.

It takes a bit of time for the mission to fully load, did you see a hint popup in the top right saying "Finished loading mission......"

Another check is if you try to recruit ai at the HQ, it doesnt work until the mission is fully loaded.
