auxdubz 10 Posted June 6, 2016 Just happened to find this video in my subscription feed and clicked on it of a new military Russion personnel truck, looking look the good old MRAP vehicle from Arma 3, the Ifrit! Just with a new paint job... I wonder who got the design first
zooloo75 834 Posted June 6, 2016 Most of the vehicles in A3 were based off of prototypes IIRC.

veles-zv 176 Posted June 7, 2016 They have popped up a few times. There is a vid of them being used by a special forces team in...Uzbekistan? Somewhere like that I think. no its used in russian, by counter terrorist groups, not really a military vehicle, honestly the one in arma looks much better then the real life one, also the real life one has more seats and it has the driving wheel on the left side like a normal car. they have a version of this with a armored ramp used to lift personal up to engage enemies on the upper stories of buildings. Bis always does a small twist in their games like this such as the KA-60 katsatka having less seats when in real life it has more seats then the blackhawk. the bluefor israel tank having only 3 positions in the back of the tank while the model allows 6 people if it was modeled correctly, also the Mi-24 AI not using the rockets or Gsh-30-2 cannon on the mi-24P model and the Mi-8 MVT-3 were it has 192 rockets but the AI for some reason will not use it all but with the CZ mi-17 the AI will use said rockets... , the Mi-24D falanga missiles purposely being made not to hit targets but rather underneath them. I hate when BIS does things like that. its like the type of stuff battlefailed does were the Mi-28 glass can be penetrated by 12.7mm but the apache cannot while in real life the Mi-28 can withstand multiple 12.7x108mm hits point blank 90 degrees in the glass while the apache can not take a 7.62x39 at 500 meters if fired into the glass only the barrier between the pilot and gunner is armored.
ineptaphid 6413 Posted June 7, 2016 Sorry-I meant Dagestan-it was a Russian SF team using it in a firefight against rebels.
