Hello toadie, we are using some of your rifles since a while and while I was updating the hlc core in our repository I noticed 2 old files, hlc_ace3_Compat_CORE.pbo and hlc_CUP_Compat_CORE.pbo , I notice they are no more in your core probably even before this update, are they obsolete? I can't find a mirror or any info anywhere so I'm assuming I can delete those files?

 GAH . Oh well, not like there can't be more than 1 set of SCARs out there, because lord knows there's almost as many of those as M4s for Arma :P

:D very true, especially since the set i have planned is gonna be RHS exclusive. So bring it on ;)

EDIT, do let me know if you need specific refs for any parts

Im sure this is a bit premature since theyre obviously still very much WIP, but are you going for a factory new look with the 416s (like the g36 pack) or more of worn look like your recent sig 550 pack? Hoping it's the latter as you've really nailed the in the field look with all those scratches, dirt and grease spots.

Is it just me, or the Arma3 Encore update broke the SIG 550-553 animations? The reloading sounds play, the bullet count and mags on huds change but there´s no hand aniamtions... the rest of the NIARms weapons seems fine, I´ve noticed it just on the Sigs... ArmA main branch, after encore update

Toadie made a statement on twitter, the short answer is yes, but there are some limitations with bohemia's implementation that means it's not replacing the script entirely.

MagazineWells != Magazine Proxies.

Todies statement is talking about magazine proxies.

 

Also both things aren't even fully implemented in the Engine yet. There are still bugs to fix.

Just spoke to Toadie.

The HK416's will be set up with MagazineWells out of the box, older stuff will be converted over once Bohemia declares the feature complete.

That's probably going to have to be someone's submod. Usually NIA doesn't do aftermarket camo skin stuff.

I wouldn't call it aftermarket, the CAG anodized 416Ds were done by HK as per CAG's request, at the factory. if you guys don't do it, I guess I will, supposing there's hiddenselections and all that fun stuff. but it being done by people with talent would be preferable lol.
