targetsQuery (command) slaved to Difficulties Menu?

Hi guys,


I am finding the command targetsQuery is not working as desired, unless map=1 in the Difficulties menu


for instance this code should return all known targets to the players group:


_targets = player targetsQuery [objNull, sideUnknown, "", [], 0];


However, with map=0, that code is only returning sideunknown and civ targets, is not returning east/west/resistance targets.


Unfortunately map=1 brings with it the undesirable magic map.


Trying to put together a system which reveals certain elements on the map when certain mission conditions are met (IE only showing icons which are spotted by a reconnaissance uav.
