Recommended Posts

I dont get it.

Radar directions...alphabetical Values??

Do you mean "1 o clock, 5 oclock, etc" Versus "Half right, quarter left, etc etc"

I haven't tested, but I took it to mean it replaced the 0/90/180/270 on the radar with cardinal N/E/S/W.

Why are you calling it a fix? You give the intention the vanilla radar hud is broken. Not getting this addon....

Yeah me neither.

Don't get me wrong, every mod is much appreciated.

But having N E S W on the radar symbol even degrates it's use more. An improvement would be a digital counter giving your exact current heading.

Not more realistic either. IMO the radar should be roved alltogether. But thats not the topic here. :)

Not really a "fix", pilots communicate bearing in degrees

Very simple addon, title says it all. Download below.

https://github.com/jameslkingsley/radar-fix/releases

Sweet!... helps to communicate a bit.

Do you have a clue on how to turn the colours off from the radar also? Radas could work as they know do, but without the automatic colorcoding pilots would have to confirm targets visually or through groundforces.

Not sure. There's some other radar images in the configs somewhere but I didn't see anything to do with colors.
