13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Special Operations Capable

"The Fighting Thirteenth"

The 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit is a milsim group that values brotherhood above all, both in-game and out; starting from day one its members work as a team to develop themselves and each other as better players and leaders, and in turn developing the unit.
 
Regardless of skill level or background, the aim of this unit is to turn its members into more competent players and develop their leadership skills so they can be applied in Arma 3, future games and in real life. This starts on DAY ONE. 
 
Taking its roots from the 13thMEU unit from Battlefield 2 Project Reality active circa 2006-2008, we are building a Marine Expeditionary Unit with several detachments:
 
Echo Co 2nd Bn 1st Marines (Infantry)
1st Force Reconnaissance Co (FRP)
HMLA-467 (Rotary Attack Squadron)
Light Armored Recon
Tank Platoon
 
We are also accepting applications for the following Slots/MOS:
0300 Infantry 
8404 Field Medical Service Technician/Corpsman(Medic)
7597 Rotary Pilot, Basic
 
Currently, we are accepting applicants for Infantry, Force Recon and Rotary with plans to expand into armor in the near future. The Reconnaissance Platoon [FORECON] was founded in August of 2015 and seeks to push Team Members through Team Leader's Course shortly after the completion of Basic Reconnaissance Course. [HMLA-467] is open to external applicants who are looking for a fast track program to Rotary Pilot positions.
 
We are always looking for people who are:
English Speaking
Mature individuals at the age of 16 or older
Active on Teamspeak 3 with microphone
Active on Forums
Available during weekends and some weeknights for training/operations
 
In regards to events, we hold training's and operations on a regular basis, outlined in our calendar of events.
 
Operations and Team Training's are also held weekly. Specialty schools such as Designated Marksman and Scout Sniper Course are also offered depending on one’s career.

This unit derives its lineage from the Project Reality group from 2006 and has recently activated in Arma 3.  Our staff possess several years leadership and milsim skills from Arma 3, other games and real world experience.
