Magnum66 0 Posted October 24, 2002 Hello fellow gamers, As a webmaster of my own gaming group, I'm kinda tired of putting up new screenshots every day, they just don't seem to express the real action. My question for you, my fellow gamers, anyone know how or what program is good for recording game footage, and converting it to a .mov file for uploading? Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted October 24, 2002 and there hasnt been a single answer about this so far. I screened through Googles to find something simillar: I put terms like: screenshot screenmovies ingame record sequence, but got only non related stuff. I know that my old Lotus tools had something that worked, at least for games that worked windowed with windows. I try to find whether Lotus is still offering it! advocatexxx 0 Posted October 24, 2002 You will really need a high end computer, and I do mean high end. Not only does the game have to play smoothly, but a whole application recording it has to run in the background, recording video, audio and compressing them both as well as saving them to the hard disk. You're gonna get a very choppy results.

Mister Frag 0 Posted October 24, 2002 Go to Web Attack and search for CamStudio, it's a great freeware video capture utility. It can record both video and audio, and also supports DivX, so you get great compression. I haven't tried it with Flashpoint, but it is worth a shot.
