If u mean how to convert the binariezed mission.sqm to a text format mission.sqm:

 

"Save As:"  >> delete the hook from save binariezed.

And is that the same as if I was saving it with the 2d editor?

Let me ask it in other way: if I save it not binarized, can I load it to 2d editor?

 

Many times saving them in Eden breaks missions that work all right if saved in 2d editor, it'd be nice to have a workaround like this.

While the Eden Editor can import 2D scenario files, 2D editor is incapable of loading Eden editor scenarios. It's intentional, we're abandoning 2D editor completely.

Just pile up without thinking about the consequences, the 3D editor is not able to export the objects in a clear manner for Arma3 server, the 3D structure does not translate in 2D, what's next?
