JohnKalo 657 Posted February 27, 2016 SAR_Pilots.Stratis Brought to you by HelicopterEnthusiast and zigTtzag(zTt) After the big success of our previous mission (no replies or any kind of feedback yet) we are here to present you SAR_Pilots mission. It was really strange that no SAR helicopter mission existed so we have built one! 1.] Hypothesis: One of our assault choppers has crashed in enemy territory and a Search and Rescue team has been dispatched so as to save the pilots. More info is located in the mission briefing 2.] Important details: a)There are some parameters in this mission. You can choose if you want a realistic SAR mission which means that you will have to look at a kinda big area so as to find the pilots or you can choose the easier path. There is an option so as for some markers to appear. The pilots will be in one of those markers. And there is another option so as for you to know the exact location of the pilots. The choice is yours. b)This mission has high replayability. The pilots are randomly positioned in different areas and the helicopter wreck will also be in a number of areas around the pilots. Its all random. c)This mission was made so as for a helicopter team with an onboard assault squad to complete the mission but in case you want to play the mission without the use of the helicopter you can use the 2 vehicles located at the base. d)The helicopter you will be using will be the Hellcat. Its one of the hardest to control helicopters but it was the only one with a camera and fastroping. Hardest to control with the AFM and for me at least. e) There is no respawn 3.]Requirements: 3.1]Players' skills: Simple combat abilities and in case you guys use the chopper you will need a very good pilot. 3.2]Technical: Arma 3 and CBA 4.]Bugs: Fast roping only works with players and not with the AI 5.]Installation: Just copy the pbo to your Arma 3 directory. JohnKalo 657 Posted August 11, 2016 A nice idea. It will take a while since all of the random positions of the helicopter and the enemy patrols will need to be edited. And there will also be an issue since the scripts that were used to create tasks no longer work in Arma 3 as far as I know.
