ai pathfinding on raods from a to b?

hi guys,

i'm wondering if there is a possibility to use the pathfinding function(s) of ai to find an unbroken connection of roads from one point to another?

my aim is to create a function that is able to predict the player movement in vehicles to trigger certain events without the need to kill the server fps with heavy custom scripts.

can someone throw me a bone here ?
