I have noticed that the more news about Knight's progress had been posted the more annoying requests have emerged. Just stopped feeding ppl with news and have gotten more time for development which is nice.

This is the best solution... keeps the "can you add my custom color for a non-existent faction" requests to a minimum!  :)

Correct me if I'm wrong. But did I see "Deploy m240" how are you gonna make this work? Like does it become an extra seat? Also is there gonna be a MK19 door gunner variant?

I was going to ask the same thing about the Mk19 gunner. I had seen some pictures in the past of the Sea king with a Mark19 but i cant seem to be able to find those pictures any more. Btw guys you are doing an amazing job on the helo I'd love to fly it as soon as its ready!

We have something in common! I love the Mk19, although I also love the GAU variants just as much aha :)

I have noticed that the more news about Knight's progress had been posted the more annoying requests have emerged. Just stopped feeding ppl with news and have gotten more time for development which is nice. Also, I find out that some people have been trying to drain my ideas for their projects. I am waiting impatiently to see which projects will have those ideas implemented.

Anyway, the Mi-17 is a testbed for CH46. As long as I work on either one, I work on both.  A little teaser tho: at the moment, I work on implementation of system that generates climate environment (ambient temperature specifically) and it will have a dramatic impact on a helicopter performance, like IRL. It's scripted system so can be transferred to any helicopter quickly.

So, answering you question directly - no, I have not.

Sorry to read that, But I can understand it!

Me neither. If anyone of you want help, I need two things and will appreciate any help to get them:

1)  http://www.rtdynamics.de/Public/Showcase/Whitepaper_RotorLib_FDM.pdf   The company refuses to send me even an evaluation version of the DevKit needed to properly configure AFM. Basically, The RTDynamics didn't even respond to my e-mails when learnt what I need the software for, although initially they did promise me full version as I am an active member of NATO armed forces (they claimed that version 5 will be available for free among NATO). That's rediculous or at least incomprehensible. BIS doesn't have comparable tool available for us, sadly.

2) Skilled SQF programmer that is not involved in any big project.

Those two above would boost works dramatically.

What exactly do you need an SQF programmer for? I could help.

I also got no response there when I emailed them a few months ago, the AFM for helicopters with two main rotors, such as the Knight, seems to be impossible to do correctly for modders. There is no good example that we have found and no one who knows how to do it seems to want to help.

Actually, the company has allegedly working example of CH47 but it seems they don't want to make even a trial version of the tool available at all (not to mention the example). That's silly.

Hey everyone! I've got exciting news for you all. The basic version of our Knight which we plan to release first is over 90% complete. Although it will not have a few of the things we wanted the basic version right off the bat to have, such as weapons, I can assure you the bird is amazing and will have features both announced and unannounced that I am sure you will all love.  Anyhow, get pumped and prepare for the Knight!! Its happening! Thanks for all the support guys :) More details soon!

Unfortunately, I can confirm this. Knight can always fly escorted tho until we arm it.

The good thing is, his AFM started cooperating with me at least, and shaping towards real characteristics of CH46. What's more, Alex150201 joined and helps me to create weather impact (on performance) system.

Short test of fastropping from ACE3. Some problems are still present, for instance the rope that goes through a floor acts strangely and the layout of cargo proxies needs to be adjusted. But hopefully those problems are minor ones and easy to fix.

I'm glad to be helping NightIntruder, I really like your idea for the weather having an impact on the helo. It's something arma is definitely missing
