Welcome to the 'Nam, pilot! 

 

Conduct five transport missions in a UH-1D in your shift on Da Krong in Quang Tri province. Fly NOE over the Ben Hai river, or pass through the hills to the three canyons, pay a visit to Radio Relay Vandergrift or Camp Sarge. Don't forget to check your fuel level and probably pay the service point close to Camp Sarge a visit once per tour.

 

 

The mission follows BTK/sxp2high's Workhorse tradition (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14027) and adds some variety by selecting places randomly from a pool for each mission. In general the environment is rather peaceful for a warzone, but don't be surprised if a stray bullet hits the chopper or you! There is no repair facility on map, so be careful with your landings.

Well, I made it throug 5 Missions before crashing into a tree. Sadly I had terrible weather/fog and mixed with the helowindows and the bright sun it was really hard to see where I am landing.

Is the weather random?

 

I would love to see you in our Ts3 some time soon I got some configs you clould take a look at - point out some problems and drop some tips.

Thanks for this mission Tetet. Am really keen to play it after reading the book and having an unhealthy love affair with the Huey  ;-)

 

However.. am having a problem loading the mission. I hear the "Good morning Vietnam" intro, but the screen remain black and upon loading, i can get an error about positioning systems.

 

Im running the latest Unsung 3.0b with the patch. Perhaps that's the issue?

Somehow in steam the multiplayer tag sneaked in and I cannot delete it any longer, bummer. It's definitely a single player mission though.

I'm having the same problem. I load it up and I immediately get an error saying that it couldn't connect to the GPS system (so no map) and then I click through it and it goes to a black screen and does nothing. Well, when I try to open the map I get my mouse cursor and my frames go up (I have the counter displayed). 

 

Would really like to get this fixed, I used to have this mission a few versions ago and love it!!!

Ok, I got it to work. I had to subscribe to it through Steam.
