Are you planning to import the rest of the BAFX and Rangemaster pack aswell, because i really want to see your UK Mastiff in Arma 3

It's in our Rangemaster pack in A2

or it might be in A3 if nzdfcrash added to his mod pack.

 

However, it WILL be coming to unsung mod.

 

this is the readme with it

F111-F Aardvark

- desert and grey skins, 11 loadouts per faction. 
- MR will have dynamic rearming
- working ARM radar hunting in SEAD role
- working cluster munitions, GPS targeted glide bombs, runway busters and retarded bombs
- working PaveTack targeting pod for WSO to dynamically fix and attack targets
- removable belly cannon for emergency CAS role, with 20mm shell drop fx
- new rapid burst flare system
- wheelbrakes and afterburners
- working drop tanks

Quick update on this project: i have been sorting out the weapons in unsung mod for A3, and finding no real difficulties so i expect to get this project sorted to an early release isometime in jan, then il. Be working on the fx and sounds afterwards for a follow up

ok its taken me a lot longer to get started as all of the unsung weapon models were missing model.cfgs so that took me out for jan/feb.

 

re unsung missilebox (the trial run for this beast of a pack)

i have successfully got 1x, 2x and 4x cannons working in planes and choppers - wit htracers, smoke and shelldrop fx etc

we have working napalm, WP, clusterbombs and mines etc

 

have also imported my miniguns, as again BIS has broken theirs (firing rate same in both firing modes anyone?)

 

am just experimenting with the a3 submunitions functions

 

once that's done, i can easily work through the configs for this pack and get it out there.

Is there an ammo cart model within this pack? I have been thing about modeling one.

no. it has about 70-80 different missiles, bombs and rockets, gunpods, racks and fuel tanks.

in the configs are every type of modern weapon imaginable, pretty much. all consistently built to work in all factions, from rifles to tanks to artillery to planes and helis.

ok this is alive. I'm gonna get this out the door in the next month i promise!

I just ported all the russian weapons for Roadkills mig21 and did the rockets and cannons for the unsung pack, so i'm more than halfway there in learning what needs to be done..

i will take this stuff away with me this week and get cracking.

ok sorry to go quiet - been working my ass of on unsung mod.

with Jets dlc loitering just over the horizon I am going to start work again on this project, aiming to release the new missilebox Jets dlc compatible, shortly after the dlc is released.

work porting this monster is about halfway there.

i could use a hand, as im also flat out on unsung mod all the damn time

 

given jets dlc is imminent, perhaps some excited modder would like to join forces on this release.

send me a pm. no time wasters please! this is hard and very boring work.
