EO 9030 Posted November 8, 2015 Hey People, I have been searching most of today looking for an answer to my question....without much success so here i am..... On mission start i would like to command an AI who is "blind" and has to be guided to a destination.....or at the very least, the AI unit must display some kind of injury or behaviour that simulates precariousness. Pie in the sky or possible....... I am willing to suspend my disbelief for anything that loosely resembles my request. Thank you.
haleks 7239 Posted November 8, 2015 You could check if the AI is too far from its guide, and make it wander a bit until the guide comes back. One thing to do as well is to limit the unit's speed - you don't want him running. But the complicated part is to keep the AI from reporting spotted enemies; the unit would have to be alone in its own group to keep him from talking. The player wouldn't be able to give him orders though... Just a few ideas thrown without much thinking for now! ^^

Spooky..... Thanks for your insight anyways.......
