[WiP] Lowlands Warrior: CH-47F Chinook

The second big upcomming release!

Most of the work should be credited to Konyo, known for his SOAR Chinook.

We used his work as a template to come to our goal. There are countless minor changes to the model, skin and config in order to actually make it the RNLAF Chinook. We choose for the variant with the NL interior, while the RNLAF is about to buy more CH-47F's but with the default interior.

This will NOT be a copy of Konyo's work. We have a different gameplan, and different type of features in mind. This variant will be more comparable to our AH-64D Apache regarding features.

All planned features:

- Advanced Flight model

- Arma sling loading capability

- ACE3 (or any other) fastroping capability

- Firing from cargo door

- Firing through bottom hatch

- Realistic MX15Di overlay

- Custom TFAR Radio and support

- MFD with sensor view

- Working MFDs

- Enhanced damage model

- Missile Warning system

- FN MAG doorguns

- Multiple skins/paintings

- Firing through bottom hatch

- Custom TFAR Radio and support

- Enhanced damage model

Until final pack release: All mods will remain in-house for Batavian Tactical

An RNLAF grey one?

I thought only the D-model Dutch Chinooks were green, and that the six F(NL)-model aircraft currently in service were grey.

That is correct

What you see up that is merely WiP state skins. Which really is the original green skin with a RNLAF roundel

The advanced flight model is tweaked with help of a CH47F pilot I know well. So thats a good thing.

At the moment we are mostly doing config work, to get FFV positions in and overcome issues withe the Get-out position that we like to have inside the model.

Second is some model stuff we like to tweak. Like being able to look into the cabin and placing the FN-MAG as doorguns.

However do NOT expect a public release before Xmas.

Want to play with this ahead of time? Become a member with Batavian Tactical and make it through the initial phase.

Thanks for the question Jacd.

I'd like to stomp anyone out of this thread saying asking for updates is forbidden. B'cause for me, it aint.

Information equals motivation. :)

A little Dev update.

Since the new Arma3 update the chinook in it's current state seems to crash zeus clients and rpt spam.

Eventhough this seems bad, it did pull our attention to part of this addon which we thought was in perfect good shape.

So development continues and we're doing OK with progress!

Dev update!

With the upcomming release of the next Apache update, attention will be drawn back to this mod. I expect to have more info in a few weeks!
