FoxyStyle 0 Posted August 19, 2016 You fixed the problem yet? I just got my ArmA 3 day before yesterday and I got the same issue. My game crashes in exact 15 min after launch. No matter it's single, multiplay or just stay in main menu, after 15 min, crash. I tried pretty much everything but formatting. Here's the list that I tried : -Reinstall -Reinstall in different HDD. -Verify game cache -Restart computer after install -Set every .exe to admin -Increased virtual memory -malloc=system (and tried other options too.) -Set parameter option -Graphic card driver update -Windows update -Defragment -Memory check -Turned off anti-virus program -Delete all dll files -Pray to gods. All this in vanilla game. No mods, no DLCs. I tried send my crash dump to the dev via support form but everytime I tried to send, it says 'error' and I should contact via support form if this keeps up. The form that just gave me that error. Answers in wiki are useless. And it seems only some people with win 10 64bit suffer this problem. I don't know what I should do next. I just wanted enjoy the game. Is it too difficult to ask? My computer : Win 10 64 Geforce 970 16GB Ram i7 something with 8-cores God help me plz

Thessiv 3 Posted November 25, 2016 Hey guys, i finally found the solution for the Status_Access_Violation Error: just head to this archive: \Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3 (or where ever you installed Arma 3) ->Right click on the Arma 3 folder ->go to properties ->go to security ->click on edit and give ALL groups and profiles the full access ->confirm and go to extended ->click on change right next to the current owner ->type in your pc User Name and verify the name ->apply and close the windows now restart your pc and you should be able to launch Arma 3 again If you still have the same issue then: 1. Uninstall the game.2. Make a backup of Arma 3 folder in Documents.3. Delete both Arma 3 folders in Documents and Steam:\Users\*YOUR USERNAME*\Documents\Arma 3\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 34. Reboot your PC.5. Run Steam as Admin, download the game.6. Do all the steps i gave you again 6. Try to run Arma 3 (without mods). Hope i could help
Pappnase 0 Posted November 28, 2016 I have the same error. Happens always when starting the Game. The Arma 3 Apex logo comes and then there's this error saying something with 0x000000 and memory 0x000000 (can't really translate it into english, before it was 0x16e0d920). I close it and the 0xC0000005 Status Access Violation error comes. Did everything what i could find on this threat and the wiki, nothing worked. I have mods in the Arma folder but they weren't active. https://www.dropbox.com/s/nhw8obq6wutaxes/ArmaReport_Log_20161128T200539_Pappnase.zip?dl=

pingopete 26 Posted October 25, 2017 MY FIX FOR ACCESS VIOLATION ON x64: (delete workshop folder) I started getting more and more frequent crashes when starting ARMA x64 bit until it would crash 100% of the time (x32 was working), I tried absolutely everything, and was about to do a full reinstall of the game, but as a last idea I deleted the hidden workshop folder in steam-arma folder and it has just fixed my issue, now running x64 bit again without crashes. bigshot 64 Posted October 26, 2017 If you are running the MSI Afterburner Monitor, this now causes Arma to crash with this error (never used to before the update though).
Horus 83 Posted October 26, 2017 I've never had problems with MSI AB/RTSS. Update to last version and see if that fix your problem AB 4.4.0 beta 20 and RTSS 7.0.0 beta 30 https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/rtss-6-7-0-beta-1.412822/page-45#post-5481684
bigshot 64 Posted October 27, 2017 I already am running the latest version (non beta). With Afterburner running Arma will not even make it to it's splash screen before it crashes to desktop 100% of the time. Once I close down Afterburner all is fine again. Arma starts up normally. I have an older 770 card and, Of course, I do NOT run the latest Nvidia drivers since that has always been a toxic thing to do for older cards. The drivers I run however aren't more than a year old anyway. I will not upgrade them anymore at this point...the newer the driver, the worse they make your old cards perform...has always been that way, regardless of what the card manufacturers claim :-) My Afterburner, however is officially up to date and makes no difference. I have no idea if the latest beta fixes it or not, though.

Horus 83 Posted October 28, 2017 Np and Unwinder release RC 4.4.0 yesterday: Quote One more beta of MSI Afterburner 4.4.0 is available. There are some minor but very useful tweaks inside, most of them are GUI/usability related and were suggested and discussed a few posts above. It is release candidate and most likely we'll publish it as official 4.4.0 a few days later.

Solved my issue that I have had for over a month of being unable to play the game with certain mods. I uninstalled the standard Afterburner and replaced with beta 4.4.0 v19 and it worked! I even had a ticket open on this that was unable to be resolved. Very obscure that Afterburner would interact in such a way. Never seen it do that before to any game I've played.
