Hi icebreakr.

 

While checking out a mission I built on Lingor, I found two issues:

1. Some objects flip over if you shoot at them, even once.

One thing we noticed last night in testing ACE Nightvision was that all IceBreakr terrains seem to be too light at night time compared to the base game. This means that the NVGs are actually less effective than if you don't use them, regardless of date/time set the night simply can't get dark enough, even when overcast. Can we get the night light settings updated to match the base setup of the game?

I believe pretty much ALL of Icebreakers Islands are set to see an imminent update according to recent facebook posts from him. That might sort the Night issue??

This would be nice. Such incredible terrains limited by the bright nights. Fingers crossed!

As ACE changed their Nightvision recently, i expect alot of islands makers will end up having to correct things. I am sure Icebreakr will address them when he has time to do them.

Does Lingor and Dingor use the arma 3 tide system? I can't use any mod to lower the MaxTide just like in Altis or Stratis :sad:

It seems that vehicles still sink into the long bridges that lead to Puente Malargo.

Ive seen a tweet from IceBreakr that he stopped working on A3 projects. Does that include not upgrading Lingor with Apex vegetation? :(

This bridge on Lingor needs on/off ramps, otherwise your vehicles wheels / tracks sink into the ground & blow.

Great job on the map @icebreakr reminds me of Tanoa without the lag.

Well, Lingor was made years before Tanoa in A2, including jet skis and such ;) it will remind you even further in upcoming days as I've revamped the entire island with Apex vegetation! And also 2 new sectors. I'm not sure why vehicles sink into the bridge though... :/

Is there another bridge that could possibly be used? I remember we talked briefly about that bridge and it being from A2?

I have PMC bridge that works just nicely, but plyons are not long enough (tnx BIS heh) and also bridge doesnt sink into the ground when piece is destroyed, it floats over any water present... and it has no clipping then :o

I understand! Only think it noticed us that under the bridge the ground kind if drops off suddenly. So possibly making a gradual slope so the vehicle can transition back up to the ground more smoothly?

Does anyone know if you can make the bridges indestructible? When ai drive over the bridge their wheels get stuck & vehicles end up blowing up the bridge.

Known issue as I've reported it to Icebreakr. Sadly it's a model issue it seems.
