New Unit 3D model eyes bug

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I'm trying to port and modify some ArmA2 Units models in ArmA3.

They work fine, but in first person view there is this bug:

Those red balls seem to be the eyes, because I saw also the eyelashes movements....
I tried different config and model.cfg files from Addon that work without bug,
all work fine, but there is always this bug.
So the problem seems to be in the P3D model, in particular into View- Pilot LOD

because if I delete it the bug is fixed (but if I delete View- Pilot LOD I delete all the first person view)

I tried to copy all ArmA 3 characters example
LODs and I tried also to copy work addon Units LODS but without success....

Here is the View- Pilot LOD:

Please Somebody can help me?

the head selection and proxy should be in. the proxy should link to \A3\Characters_F\Proxies\hmd

My Units have that proxy, in fact in third person view they work fine....

Thanks for your reply

the whole idea is that there is actually no head in view pilot lod if your proxy is working correctly, exactly to avoid the issues you've described

Much like PuFu said. Check the A3_character_template.p3d and you'll see that there's no 'bysta' proxy in the view-Pilot LOD.

i.e. The Head model isn't supposed to be included in the first person model
