How is that?: this is a little config tha remplace the Vanilla Weapons of NATO forces by the Niarms Mod...


Description:

We must recognize the great work that has made BI Arma3 new weapons, vehicles, uniforms, accessories etc...
but the classic yet timeless; It is why I decided work on this project mainly to replace weapons ,rifles and pistol in this case for NATO forces by the excellent and magnificent HLC mod Weapons Pack to so far proven to be the best (in my view) both modeling, sound, animations and textures. Also some small modifications to the equipment of the units as: helmet, goggles and other ...

Features:

 

 

  • The regular infantery is equip with HLC m4, Colt Carabine, M14 and more.
  • Atorifleman is equiped with HLC Saw Minimi
  • The recon infantery is equiped with HLC AR15 Magpul Carbine supresor
  • MTC helmet

Thanks buddy! I wish there were many more replacements available. It's the most compatible way to use 3rd party content.

Yeahhh.. the AAF could use the AUGs or HK G3A4RAS (the railed version) and HK 53s - HAFM mod had G3s and G36 (well, Toadie is about to release a G36 pack wink wink ) and M4s as well - I mean, not to use HAFM weapons, but see its screenshots to inspire which weapons an Hellenic/greek force should use - and grab those from HLC packs!!!!)

FIA or AAF can use FN FAL and M60

Maybe MP5 for light rifleman

AUG A1 for general infantry

AUG A3 for grenadiers and special forces 

FN FAL for Markman

M60 for heavy rifleman

AWP for Sniper

I'd probably give the AAF AUG A1's for infantry with A3's for Grenadiers and SF. The G3KA4 for Marksmen, the FN Minimi (the European version rather then the M249) for the LMG role, the M60E4 for GPMG and the AWM for Sniping. They'd use the AUG A1 9mm where a submachine gun is required   

FIA could use the AKM and AUG A1 for guerrillas, the RPK for the LMG role, the G3A3 for marksman and sniping duties and the M60 for GPMG. As with the AAF AUG A1 9mm for SMG. 

The FAL A. has been out of military production since 1988 and B. is notoriously poor at filling any sort of long range DMR role due to its design, so I'm against its inclusion. FIA are set up to mostly use older versions of what the AAF use, with the idea that most of their weapons come from looting government armories and police stations. With the AK variants being illegal imports from supporters and sympathetic governments.

Would it be possible to make the replacement of the helmets undone? Or somehow make the replacement of different types of it modular?
The helmets seem to be PASTG helmet, very outdated helmet. Too bad there aren't that many MICH mods out there. 

 

Forgot to say, this is a great mod. Really takes of the futuristic edge of the scenarios and campaign. Makes me enjoy the game far more. Thank you so much!

somehow my regular rifleman is missing his 5.56mm ammo and so he is empty and not able to shoot anybody :P  (will investigate the matter to see who else has the problem and to see where the problem could arrise from) 

 

FOUND IT !!!!!   the problem arrises when you use the RHS / HLC-AR15 Compatebility patch !!! (newest version of RHS 3.9 and the HLC AR15 1.7)
