INSTALLATION:

Unzip the archive

Move @MFFA to arma 3 root folder

Move @MFFA\keys to arma 3 root folder

MFFA will support alive in the next update to come.

I don't think so, there's simply not enough asian faces and I don't want to have to model them :/

Have you considered replaced the MARPAT assault pack the Takistani's currently use, with something a bit less modern looking, like the Alice pack or a field pack? And maybe replacing the base game pistols some of them use with the PMM?

Really nice mod, what faction are the civs? Any pics? Can't wait for alive compatibility to use with some of my missions, especially the Russian insurgents.

I'll see for the backpacks, for the pmm, no the vanilla pistols are good enough.

I want to flesh out the civs before marking them as a "feature", the current civ faction is CIV_F (vanilla)

I'm currently cleaning my templates, I'll release the ones I used for the MICH, harness, uniforms and backpacks tomorrow, the ones for vehicles are much bigger and thus will take me more time to upload.

Hello alganthe, I would like to ask 2 questions:

 

1. Are you intending to upload this to steam workshop?, it would be great to get the most up to date version automatically

 

2. Will you be willing to accept new faction ideas?, I had in mind a Paramilitary Organization on INDFOR called "Red Cell" that uses some semi-modern Russian Gear, such has tanks, heli's, and other such equipment, here are some infantry that I have created: http://postimg.org/gallery/283g7q4s8/7ae0825c/

 

Great looking mod, cant wait to see what next will be added :)

Is this released under APL-SA or is this released under a homebrew license where I can't release it on steam workshop?

I was really happy to see another open-source/APL-SA mod but with that weird limitation your mod isn't actually APL-SA compatible so it isn't all that useful to actual APL-SA projects  :(

It was only a temporary measure to avoid the upload of early WIP work, this condition is now lifted, any released package can now be uploaded on the steam workshop.

Workshop full support is going to be added next update.

Nice. We would like to use the Civilians with Alive (Civ faction). What is the faction name for this? Does it work?

Unfortunately the TRYK uniforms I was using for the civs / takistanis / russian rebels have improper hitpoints, and due to TRYK loosing the source unbinarized P3D they are unable to fix them.

 

so in short:

 

- TRYK and RHS won't be required anymore

- the CSAT reskins will be ALIVE compatible

- the russian rebels / takistanis / civs will be removed.

 

The release is already available on github (1.1.134489) and requires CBA 2.3.0 minimum (should be released after 1.56)

Eeeeeh, I don't think so, I might redo the wood camo a bit (My PC died while I was uploading the .PSD files to my dropbox and my backup is pretty old)

I'll also add some steam workshop compat, I need to look into that.

A mod i really enjoyed - though having some issues, as the mod version is not pushed further on Play withSIX than v1.0. 

Could you please press the latest updates there as well?
