roguetrooper 2 Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) Does anyone know if the Take-on-Mars-landscape can be used as a mod in Arma3 ? Does the Imperial-Assault-mod for Arma3 use this landscape? Edited July 8, 2015 by RogueTrooper
bullet purveyor 85 Posted July 9, 2015 I doubt it, different engines. Take on Mars uses Enforce. Don't think Bohemia would allow it either if it was possible.

I think, 'allowance' has nothing to do with it. You can also use Chernarus+ in Arma 3. Sure, they could prevent it by intentional or unintentional technical/incompatibility means. But they can't prevent the users to copy files from one folder into another. On the other hand, if they were compatible, more people might buy Mars (to use the landscape in Arma 3) even if they are not interested in that Mars game itself (like me). slatts 1978 Posted July 27, 2015 Chernarus+ is built on the same engine as the original Cherna. no TOM terrain is built on the RV engine. So no. You can't just copy files from TOM to Arma 3. Without a whole heap of work and working around legal issues. You can't do it.
