[WIP] Terrain Diyala province Iraq

Could you look through DYA.pbo.Cype_Revenge.bisign, please. It seems like dya.pbo is wrongly signed and for that our community cannot use this terrain on server.

-changed the Keys

Keys work fine now, thanks.

 

If you didn't know arma has launch parameter for verifying keys: -checkSignatures

Do you need Apex as some of my unit dont have it and those that do it works those tht dont can not connect ?

Hi after some time i get back to this beautiful map, but i'm getting some character glitch, like hanging up for a sec then back to normal when running. Do anyone else have the same problem ?

If you’re taking about a brief stutter when walking/moving, yes I am which is why I can’t play on this map anymore.

Yes that's what happening..hmm, thats sad, i really like this map. I add it to my dedicated server yesterday on a BMR mission, but looks like i have to take it down.

Unfortunately I havent got a server to run the map in a multiplayer mission so I cannot make a video of the problem with this map

Why do you need a server to show a problem with the map? What’s the problem exactly? The stuttering every few seconds when moving  I mentioned above 8 months ago?

tested now the last released Build and for me is working fine.....

 

Used this map about a month ago on a dedicated server with about 20 people, had no issues on anyones end so any issue I'd say is on the user end.

Diyala seems to work fine for me as I made a server via my own machine via the editor and played it in multiplayer and had no issues, no units clipping through the ground, no one second hang-ups either. Its a beautiful terrain and map.

I never have any problems running this map in singleplayer or multiplayer. It's a great terrain, one of my top 5 for sure.

Updated Version on GoogleDrive and SteamWS (Link on first page):

 

-V1.4
-changed Vegetation (Palms) to Apex
-Updated to new config
-deleted some objects hoping for FPS ingrease
-few small reported error fixes

Hey @Cype_Revenge thanks so much for updating this awesome map. The improvements to FPS are very noticeable and very welcome. Using primarily A3 vegetation assets gives the map a nice visual consistency.

 

I have a couple of suggestions for you: 

 

1 - Would you consider removing the EP1 foliage, specifically b_pistacial1s_ep1.p3d and b_amygdalusn1s_ep1.p3d? These bushes simply don't work with the lighting on the map.

 

2 - cype_phragmites.p3d has an LOD colour problem. These reeds look green from a distance and almost white when up close. I assume you made these models so it should be something you can fix.

the problem with the phragmites was never reported to me....

some EP1 foliage was changed in this Update with Vegetation from Apex.

Next Update i will see what i can do.

Would like to report some floating objects:  Garbage and fence [4556.04,5880.62,0] and a wood barrel [1333.81,6763.49,0]. 

Also want to ask if it's possible to make the new cocoa tree behave like a a regular object like the other trees so it can be hidden with hideObjectGlobal.
