Air rifle question

Recommended Posts

I have an old air rifle, as far as i knew it was broken, i bought it about 5 years ago on some market cuz i really wanted a rifle (even a broken one).

Yesterday i discovered that the rifle isn't broken at all, i managed to shoot it. The trigger doesn't work but i found another way to shoot it. I'd really like to repair it, the trigger isn't the only thing that needs to be repaired. Are there some websites that give good discriptions how you have to repair an air rifle?

I don't know much about my gun:

It's not a professional gun, i think.

It's made in France (that says enough biggrin.gif )

4.5 cal.

Shoots pellets

There's Manu-arm written on the back, probable the brand.

Under Manu-arm this is written: (It's french) Modele depose, brevete (can't read the next thing very well) 9 C.D.G. or something like that.

Some help would be appreciated...

A website about this gun or similiar guns would be very very very welcome...

Thanks

I got a rifle that needs service as well, old Polish currently use the Slavia 631 but The Polish needs some new parts.

Hell, When I load up my Polish Air rifle i need to use a screwdriver to insert the pellets, pushing them further down the barrel and close carefully so the shot don't go off.

As for your type of service I don't know, I guess we are in the same boat?

I don't understand people with BB guns or Airsoft guns.

Why not just go out and buy the real things instead of these wanna be guns??

So you got a shiny kick ass looking AK74, real metal and all!! Soo cool!!! But it's still just a frikkin BB gun!!!

I say just wait til you are old enough and start collecting real guns and take them to the firing range.

I mean I believe that in the US, you can pretty much get any fire arm out there if you got the time and the money.

Why sit around collecting fancy BB guns that are replicas of real guns??

Contrary to popular belief, you can't just buy an AK-47 in the US like a box of crackers. Even if you could, he has his reasons for having that rifle, and wanting it fixed.

DarkLight, I'd check in your phone book to see if there is a place in your area that sells and services paintball guns. Those guys might be able to help you, or direct you to someone who works on them.

If all else fails, you can get air rifles very inexpensively from places like Sportsman's Guide and Cheaper Than Dirt.

u cant get anything like that in the UK and need a hard to get license for even basic things like a shotgun, rifle or even a more powerful air rifle confused.gif

Plus airguns have their advantages such as zero recoil on the pneumatics plus ammos a hell of a lot cheaper id imagine for example a pack of fairly good .22 pellets would be about Å3-4

for 500 pellets.

What's the difference between an air-rifle and "military, politics, other military games and similiar topics loosely"

The answer:  Everything
