[MELB] Mission Enhanced Little Bird

Hello Diesel, I did a presentation video of your mod for my arma team, I'll not monitze it. But before put it on Youtube, I need to ask your permission. Of course credits will be in the description with armaholic link and BI forum too.

I tried looking for the easter egg, I found it the mod files but I can't find it on any helicopter! Can you give us a hint on where it is?

Please 1 more hint! Telling you that you need to activate it isn't really hinting anything. Please just 1 more hint and make it a good one. You do want the easter egg to be found right?

Rope Interaction Command (ie. Hook) Damages MH-6M

 

I searched this thread for the same issue and did not find it. The problem  I'm having is everytime I use the hook command "Rope Interaction" with the MH-6M, there is the distinctive sound of the tail rotor coming into contact with an object (maybe the rope) and I suffer catastrophic ATRQ failure. 

 

I've loaded the game without any other addons other than CBA and MELB (latest version) and the problem persists. I've rebound the key command to another, same results. 

 

I've am able to hook items without problem using other Helos, ie. MH-9 and UH-80. 

 

Any thoughts?

Thanks for finding that one.

It was also an issue before release, but i had fixed it. I most likely changed something after that and caused it to reappear( d'oh!).

We're working on a hotfix that'll fix that, the hard to see instrument dials and a couple of other things.

So keep an eye out for that!

No problem. Steam Workshop makes it so much easier to update mods now :)

 

BTW. Any chance on having squad.xml picture on the side of the chopper?

We planned on adding the squad.xml flag to the nose of the chopper, where now in the attack birds you see the "six guns" decal. I can throw that into this hotfix as well.

Ok, to make the bobblehead appear, do the following:

Add this to the helicopter init box in the editor:

this animate ["Addbobhead", 1];

We're releasing a hotfix later today to deal with the rope bug that was mentioned before, and we'll add a way to easily show/hide the bobblehead via the action menu. It'll be hidden under the option to turn collision lights on/off.

 

Well, in final version i prefer like this one:

As always, use our feedback tracker to report any bugs/suggestions/etc.

 

Fixed:
- Sling loading works again!

- Instrument gauge dials easier to see

 

Tweaked:

- Damage model 

- Hellfire damage radius                       

- Helicopter sound

- Various optimization tweaks

- Easter egg now easier to activate(action menu)

 

Removed:

- TOW functionality from guided rockets since ACE3 lasers work again.

  So now even when using ACE you can lock onto laser, cycle to desired rocket, lock on and fire!

Yes. Now if just Saitek could replace my pedals I'd be a happy puppy.

 

@sykocrazy: Do you have somewhere we can post (flight model) feedback and requests? Here in the forum or some issue tracker?
