We are a dutch(NLD) group who base ourselves on the 11 Air Manoeuvre Brigade (Air Assault Brigade), with additional support elements for indirect fire as well as fixed wing and rotary assets. Using real world tactics adjusted to the game, we make sure every mission is played as realistic as possible. The 11AMB is looking for people with teamspirit and a tactical mind to join us. So socialism is one great point at our unit.StructureOur unit is structured off the Royal Netherlands Army and the 11 Air Manoeuvre Brigade to be specific. The 11AMB retains a rank structure that is the same as the Royal Netherlands Army. We assign ranks as they are needed, which in turn depends on our size. Leadership is an important quality that you really need to earn, our officer courses are constructed not only to ensure our leaders/officers can lead and make decisions etc on a battlefield, but that they are also able to form teams to have fun and to achieve beyond the limitations of the individual. Air ManoeuvreAir Manoeuvre is a container term for all forms of integrated action by a ground and air component. Air Manoeuvre consists of Air Assault, Air Mechanised, Airmobile en Airborne.The characteristic difference between the various ways of air manoeuvre insertion is that a Air Mechanised insertion is performed by the Apache combat helicopters. At air assault insertion, the emphasis is on the integrated deployment of combat helicopters, transport helicopters and units on the ground. The occurrence of 11 Air Manoeuvre Brigade is a typical example of air assault insertion. In an airmobile insertion the helicopter transport shall be used as means of transport and not integrated in the actual attack. Airborne insertion is performed by a specially trained unit with parachutes or after a landing from aircraft. The 11 Air Manoeuvre Brigade is capable to perform all four forms of action. So everything we do, we do it by air.Because all these actions/insertions requires a aircraft, we have a special team, called Tactical Helicopter Group or THG.
