acta: This is mostly dependent on how you ported them, edited the models, etc. There are already ports out there that should work fine in Arma 3. AFAIK this one includes all A2 US Helos: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?181038-US-Helicopters-(HAFM-OVerhaul)-MOD&highlight=kimi+helicopters, This is for the Mi-24: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?185594-Arma-2-Mil-Mi-24-Hind-Port, and this is the Mi-8/17: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?181588-Arma-2-Mi-8-Mi-17-Port

Hopefully this helps :)

Unless you've changed it from the default, you should be able to switch to third person using the ENTER key on your number pad (right side of most keyboards). If you do not have a number pad (for which I feel sorry for you), you will need to re-bind this function under your "view" controls in your configuration menu.

Happy hunting.
