I have been beating my head against the wall for two days trying to get a server set up for my Arma 3 unit, first time doing it alone and I'm using https://my.gameservers.com - I'm just wondering if anyone can provide me some insight as to what is causing this hangup.

As is stands right now, all mods are listed in the top - not sure if the order is messing with it, or if I'm just a big dumb dumb. Please help.

Sorry to read about your server trouble, but is what you posted for your mod listing the exact spelling as it is on your server's command line?

As i see a few misspells and or spaces that shouldn't be there.

Also your hangup is you have to many massive mods, I mean look:

@agm;

@alive;

@bcombat;(sp only)

@allinarma;

@allinarmaterrainpack;

@mcc_sandbo x_a3;

@nato_russian_sf_weapons;

@rhs_afrf3;

@rhs_usf3;

These are massive mods that take up alot of resources, do you have missions that are running all of these at once including the other mods I did not list?

Consider @Alive takes quite some time to load as well, always did for me.

Would suggest that you condense some of your mods as well, more specifically your weapon packs into one.

Keep note that only mods that a mission requires need to be on the server.

The random spacing in the -mod= line isn't there. The issue with a couple mods is that they begin to require each other to run, like IslaDuala_a3 requires allinarmaterrain and panthera.

I would try getting the server running with no mods before adding a huge list like that.

Also you don't mention what happens when you try and start it? Does it crash, hang, spit an error on screen, etc?

Do you have full access to the server or just a control panel?

So the server works without mods, and we added a few mods like alive, agm, cba and it worked fine - with the entire mod list as stated above it hangs on 1:49:25 Cannot evaluate 'ReadAndCreate' - no file, no matter what order they've been in - tried to keep the necessities first, cba to arp2 - but I'm not 100% sure if that's the right order to list them in. As for full access to the server, do you mean as in FTP and turning it on/off? Because I can do both of those things.

Should I go through and add each mod (and the mods needed for each mod) one by one? Or what should I be looking at here?

I meant like RDP or other full desktop access.

I've seen bad .bikey files that cause this as well as corrupted mod files. I would split up the mods that you haven't tested yet into 2 groups and test to see which one fails... rinse, repeat until you narrow it down. Once you find which mod is causing the problem delete it and it's .bikey file in your \Keys folder and re-download from website / re-upload using FTP.

Alright, so after going through everything it turned out that task_force_radio was the one throwing all the errors at me, as of right now we've moved to ACRE2 and it's fine, but I'd like to use task_force_radio, has anyone had this issue and found a workaround for it?

Have you tried re-downloading TFR and it's keys to your server? Or try with just TFR (and it's requirements) and see if that loads. Also check the TFR thread here someone else may have run into this issue.

Posted in the TFAR thread but no reply, this is what I posted over there.

So - I downloaded TFAR for my server, and with the modpack i have running it simply doesn't work. I've tried it both with all the mods in the config line, and I've tried it with only cba_a3 and task_force_radio, and it simply doesn't work. This is the output I get with cba and tfar as the only two running things.

Also, I have deleted/reuploaded both tfar and cba multiple times, but I'm still getting this issue.

Am I supposed to move anything inside tfar anywhere? Or delete something?

I don't even see anything in your RPTs that would be related... although the one you posted with cba and tfr looks incomplete (it's only a half page or so). It's a conflict between TFR and another mod, or perhaps related to a .bikey file problem..... but narrowing that down would be time consuming.
