Reloading while prone - unit stands up

I have an issue with a shotgun reload animation. The weapon reloads fine when standing, crouched, and even sitting, however if I reload while prone, the unit stands upright while the animation plays, then is immediately prone once again. Is there a fix to this? What would I need to edit as in every other position, it is fine. Any help would be great.

Have a look at the HLC animation examples. He has working prone animations, might be worth comparing your animations to his.

It appears that this broken BIS animation is the cause:

reloadAction = "GestureReloadM4SSAS";
