Can drop gear when dead through gear menu in res

Tried to do a search on the forum and looked at the troubleshooting FAQ to see if this had already been posted. Couldn't find anything.

As the subject states, when you are dead, you can bring up the map and go to the gear menu and the "drop" button is still there. If you click it you crash to desktop and have to restart to get OFP started again.

I agree that's a nasty bug, but why would you do that anyway? You aren't able to help out anyone in particular because anything you were carrying is already available to other players.

Exactly.. So why leave the function in there? Especially if it causes a crash.

Hmm wasn't that point already covered? I see no reason for you to repeat what was already said
