Dynamic HVT Takedwon (Kunduz MAP!)

Hey all -

With the release of Kunduz, I put together a SP mission. Think you'll like it :)

Requirements:

-Kundez Map

-CAF 1.5 MOD [optional] (for clothing only, will take requests other MODS)

Mission Design:

-There is a HVT somewhere in the area. Need to find him and take him out, then RTB. This is a dynamic mission where every restart forces new locations and enemy patrols. (TIP, easy is to recon area with UAV, otherwise find him the hard way!)

-ZUES is available in BASE for vehicle loadouts, or go out on foot!

-Has a couple of menu calls for support

-Includes units from 1.42x release, so if you're not running DEV branch or RC release, expect some errors.

-Use menu to change time of day

-Becareful for IEDS!

Looks great-but what does RC release mean?

Release candidate, prior to stable branch updates they temporarily put out a new version, which means you can test what will be the new stable branch early.

Updated.

Change log:

-Removed CAF AG dependency, however still recommend using it and then activating it via menu 0-0-6.

-Changed redress scripts to fix errors

-Add more randomness to house and car patrols. Added more units as well

-Added more units to Leaders positions for more intense firefights.

Known BUGS:

-There is a small bug i cant find yet, its when loading the mission. If you find that there is really bad framerate LAG, just restart the mission and it should be good the next time around. Doesn't happen often, but it has happened to me twice so far in the many times I've tested.

-Sometimes the time skips an hour or two on its own. Still trying to find where this is coming from.

Quick Update again:

-Fixed report spam

-Fixed redress on leader UNIT. His outfit will not change.

-Fixed menu for redress so you cannot run it multiple times.

Another update. Some nice additions, try them out!

-Added random heights to house spawns to get units to be on different floors.

-Added menu item to create marker around leader location for quicker mission style. [0-0-7]

-Adjusted repair script

-Fixed simulation for UAV car

hey man good to hear from ya. Yea i think the latest build's a lot better and now with the menu cheat it should make it easier to find him. If all else fails it could be that he ended up spawning under the ground but its been rare.

I am a bit skeptical about dynamic missions because they lack a narrative structure, but as this one had at least a hint of an appoximate location of the HVT (called cheating!) it was actually fun, especially with the Gear selection stuff at the base. Without any direction I would have been lost, and my verdict would have been not quite as favourable...
