X-Cam 1.0 for Arma 3 released

Hi,

there is something wrong with inidbi I think.

1. So, make sure the "inidbi.pbo" is available in @inidbi\addons

2. "inidbi.dll" is needed in @inidbi

3. @inidbi is activated/loaded

4. no other idea

As far as i understand, the problem was in dev branch - there's no such trouble with stable.

The new Arma 3 update has broken Xcam/inidbi, I just get spammed with millions of script errors and can't load any projects. When I click on the tabs (veh, obj etc.) nothing shows up.

Please de-activate BattlEye, then it's working.

I'll pay money (not too much ) basically since the source files are out for jacksonville i was wondering if someone could help me so I can get the objects and everything into xcam so i can fully edit the map.

VincentValentine, if.your are just starting out with this hobby, you are jumping into the deep end.

This is extremely complex stuff. Start small. I already gave you a link to a zillion Guides and Tutorials in a different thread. You've basically asked the same question over and over. Your questions are alover the place and too vague. What are you trying to do specificlly? Map/Mission Editing, Terrain Making, or is it X-Cam related?

Basically all I want is to be able to delete some buildings and tree and later on add different builinds

First, contact the owner of the Terrain for permission/files. He/She is also the best source for help with thier terrain. Second, the Atlas Tutorial posted above is a great intro into getting started with Terrains. I went through it a while back myself, and recommend it for anyone getting started.

You could save the objects you want to transfer as a prefab.

As already mentioned somewhere in here, the xcam_... objects are targeted for terrain builders, they have a very basic config and are not animated when used in A3. After they were imported to TB and you start your map in A3 everything should be fine.

if u talk about mission export, then please use original Arma 3 objects only, so all objects without "xcam_" at the beginning.

Quick question...and excuse me if this has already been answered, but xcam_A2 objects (ex. xcam_a2_runway) are those compatible with the AIA pack?
