Request for your take on UK MTP uniform, which is reasonably distinct from MultiCam.

I'm loving the HQ textures, and wouldn't want a lite version - I mean the HQ nature of these textures is half the point no? - but the sheer pack size makes it prohibitive to upload to our dedicated server. The version I downloaded and tried (believe previous version of current) was about 5GB unpacked, and that isn't reasonable to upload.

Perhaps make individual standalone packs for coyote tan, ranger green, black, MultiCam, etc. It'd really help with the size issue.

I would use a standalone MultiCam or MTP pack tomorrow, at a much lower size.

Perhaps this solution will work best for all of those concerned about size;

We will locate the dependency files, isolate them and correct all further

references to depend on a significantly smaller (albeit content is hidden

as a simple patch) and we attempt to release these camouflages all as a

set of individual items, the file directory listing looking a bit more like this:

*GEAR_US_BK.pbo

*GEAR_US_CB.pbo

etc.

and then finally separate Goggles/NVG's into its own distinct PBO due to size.

This way, the current framework would essentially be only that. Failing that,

we can attempt to make it a simple code-only patch, whereby you can also

use a specific version of GEARS_CORE but it is only in code format and data

will work but functions such as Night Vision, Accessories etc. do not appear.

Not sure what is cause but this addon make arma crash

Private Message me and we'll get ontop of that as soon as possible. I

need your startup/launch parameters incl. all mods you use plus a .rpt.

That would help me determine what the cause of the crash was, okay?

I voted for additional in your poll and like to suggest A-Tacs Camouflages.

Also I have the questition, if you can maybe add black/grey/tan/od sweaters to the ocp/marpat uniforms.

Ketsucorp,

I like your idea, making the dependency much smaller would be a pretty great solution. Having the NVG in its own pbo works really well too as far as i am concerned anyway.

Give us some time, we may release all camouflages first to get the

basis finished and then attempt to adjust just CORE later and have

it work itself out that way. Our development team is steaming onto

ABU/ACU in the next few days. Please provide critique on the data

such as texture quality, etc. If we can improve textures do tell us.

I would be impressed if you can get the ACU, Multicam AND Scorpion W2 on market. With the proper placement of velcro and uniform regulations.

If you can provide us a texture swatch for Scorpion W2 issue OCP

then we'll have it worked up. By proper velcro placement are you

asking for the army combat uniform? As you well know the kit for

ArmA III uses Combat Shirts/Pants and Crye uniforms, we haven't

access to a standard issue ACU with mandarin collar, slant pocket

groupings and sleeves. We are however looking into this, possibly.

Essentially it's a upgraded Multicam OCP. Essentially.

By Velcro placement, I should of stated it like proper placement of certain things like the shoulder pockets, chest pockets, the U.S Army Nametape, etc etc. Default Arma 3 stuff is...lame? I don't know, maybe I been playing Arma 3 for too long.

Keep them coming, we want this kind of feedback for potential

releases of unannounced expansions. Also we are expecting to

patch for support for Marksman DLC which will be coming soon.

That's an excellent example. Albeit I am told that OCP/Scorpion W2

is simply Multicam (same color) but without vertical camouflage...?

Do you wish for us to modify the Multicam and just make a new one

or are you asking for this specific swatch as a pattern addition also?

Speaking for myself I would prefer to have that specific scorp 2 as its own pattern as opposed to modifying the MCAM

So perhaps rename OCP to MCP and then release Scorp 2 as OCP in addendum.

Update:

At present we're working to finish the ABU system to better match its

compatibility with ACU. Upon completion of that we will review camo's

prior released. That way we can assess not only the following change

but also the impact of whether it will be worthwhile to do given time:

*Eliminate or reduce requirement footprint on Core.

*Restructure modification to release individual base colors, BK, CB, SG, OD, TN.

*Restructure modification to release individual eyewear in; BK, CB, SG, OD, TN.

*Rename of OCP to MCP and implement OCP as Scorpion W2 variant for release.

*Any misc fixes in near future.

Are those the current changes requested at present? We will set up

a review of the featured changes if so upon finishing the camouflage

requests at hand. Thank you all for your feedback and critique so far.

In the upcoming DLC there are some new very heavy vest. Do you plan to retexture this vests too. Would be great.

Could you please create a camouflage that is based on the Latvian "NacionÄlie Bruņotie SpÄ“ki (NBS)" Army? I would be greateful if you could!

It's built on Latpat camouflage. If you pictures please contact me on Steam, CreepPork_LV.

list content first, private requests will come in the next week.

So long as the community is grateful for the changes we will implement

them as requested. We do ask you let us finish the initial batch work, I

myself have to continue as public relations head and will give everyone

updates on what is going on but the development team will work on so

as to finish what is required. They're saying it is entirely feasible to set

up CORE as BK Color, then each color in core as a separate classname.

Then, they will do the same for Night Vision & Eyewear, attempting to

allow a user to pick not only the Core file, but also add camo within a

users choice & preference. Finally, we will attempt to get OCP rename

to MCP in preparation for OCP W2 if possible. We hope this works well.

Is it just me, or do all the backpacks added by this mod have identical carrying capacities to one-another? They also appear have a weight value close to 0 (may even be exactly 0 tbh).

Also, all helmets appear to give exactly the same levels of protection and also apparently weigh nothing.

Vests all have the same level of protection, and belts with only a couple of pistol magazine pouches have the same carrying capacity as vests with a dozen or so pouches on them.

The rebreathers are configured incorrectly (as the oxygen mask etc show when out of water, default behaviour only has these show when in water deep enough to warrant them being worn).
