Thank you for your hard works on the mod.

 

I have one little problem, I'm not able to add custom vehicle on the empty LHD, I always get an "invalid number in expression" error.

 

I red the pdf but still can't get it to work.

Check your use of "

 

make sure you type in " and do not copy and paste.

 

Also, make sure you are using the correct classnames - CUP_B_AV8B_LGB

Thanks for the tip but I checked and correct the ", I still can't get through.

I typed in the exact same and works fine for me.

 

If I copy and paste your text into my editor it doesn't work. As I said, you need to type all the text (quotes, spaces etc), not cut and paste. This isn't an LHD issue, the characters you are using are not valid for the editor.

 

What does your RPT say? probably something like

11:43:24 Error in expression <s, "FlightDeckCargo", ["CUP_B_AV8B_LGB",​ "CUP_B_AV8B_LGB"]] call CUP_fnc_crea>
11:43:24   Error position: <​ "CUP_B_AV8B_LGB"]] call CUP_fnc_crea>
11:43:24   Error Invalid number in expression

the space that you cut and paste is not a valid character :)

You were right from the beginning, it was about the copy/past issue (I had a ? showing instead of a " when I open notepad again).

 

RPT was something similar.

No problem, you are welcome! I've updated the documentation to highlight the issue of cut and paste with Arma 3 editor.

 

Also, i've been testing LHD in MP and its somewhat broken:

 

1. JIP and Respawn don't work (fixed in dev)

2. Release Vehicle script is not MP compatible (i.e. you cannot unlock vehicles spawned) - fixed in dev, will ship with next update

 

We will endeavour to fix these issues asap.

Intelligence report on the forces of the Sahrani Liberation Army. - Sahrani Herald 4/1/2016

 

Prior to the invasion of the Kingdom of Southern Sahrani. A military intelligence report was written to be presented to both the King and US officials on the island. This report has been declassified under the Peace and Reconciliation act of 2010 and a Freedom of Information request by the Sahrani Herald.

As you are aware. Forces of the Sahrani Liberation Army have been conducted large scale maneuvers on the Pesadas military range in recent weeks. We have surmised from images gathered from propaganda videos aired on North Sahrani stations and aerial/satellite photos. The SLA have been preparing their mechanized and armored divisions from a large scale assault on key locations of interest. REDACTED has been suggesting in recent months that the training missions conducted in the Kingdom by his nations forces may provoke the SLA into a preemptive strike, fearing invasion.

 

Our observers have made these notes, attached to images we have gathered.

This still gathered from video released by NSTV shows 2 SLA T-72 tanks on maneuvers recently. It is unknown how many of these tanks the SLA currently posses and have operational. In the event of invasion, the destruction of these tanks should be of utmost importance. The fire support they offer to SLA infantry is invaluable. Given the aging of this model of tank. We would recommend the Army Corps procure sufficient anti tank weaponry.

Image 2 shows a combined arms exercise between SLA BMP-2, BRDM-2 and mechanized infantry. Due to the amphibious nature of these vehicles. It is possible for them to cross the narrow channels both north and south of the only land crossing at Corozol. The BMP-2 IFV currently outperforms any RACS counterpart.

 

 This third imagine is slightly more pressing. Gathered from REDACTED.

It shows SLA Militia in combat fatigues roaming the streets of Bagango. These units are mainly regulated to guarding the various work camps in the northern mountains or patrolling border areas. This change may be related to unknown political unrest. Or is being conducted to free up forces. 

 

 

The Defence Ministry feels that due to the successful training and valuable knowledge passed on from US forces,.The RACS should review our current defence policy and further review the weaponry the RACS possess.

Right side is the Independent Takistani Locals, more western style clothing and some western weapons

There are two extra units per side which were not in Arma 2 - a Mechanic (Engineer) and Bomb Builder (Explosive Specialist)

small request - get the AN-2 in the vehicles - critical equipment for Lingor cocaine trade. :)

 

The AN-2 couldn't agree more, land in very small areas and get stuck there because you can't take back off.

Not yet. Part of the assets can be reused for the civilians, but I have shied away from them so far since it will include females and I don't know yet how the game will handle that.
