A little cookie from the Lowlands Warrior team!

This is a 4x4km map representing the area east of 's-Gravenpolder, the water purification site.

It was used by the Dutch Armed forces, a unit from the 13 Light Brigade in order to rehearse for an exercise. The Lowlands Warrior team was invited with the challenge to make something usable within 48 hours.

Mission accomplished!

 

Don't expect too much. Most other additions were done through the scenario editor.

The original was made for VBS3, we ported it, with permission to publish to Arma3 of the commander who issued the challange.

The LLW team is making progress for the Pzh2000. 

 

All ammo types are being tested, so they represent closest to what the performance is IRL. We may be releasing it as a reskin for the Scorcher first, with the correct ammo. The classname will be maintained so any mission you make using the Pzh2000 will remain compatible! 

 

Also more progress on the colt c7. Its being textured and animated.

Additionally some gear like berets and backpacks are comming up.

Ladies and gentlemen,

 

We are happy to announce that we are finally releasing an ALPHA version of our Colt C7 NLD.

LLW is planning to complete the pack with the C8 and a GL variant with the correct optics.

 

However, for now:

We are allready getting in usefull feedback on the colt C7.

Of course, some stuff is obviously not done yet but quiet a few bits we  did overlook,  it seems.

 

Stuff like pictures in the UI, offset of attachments, shadows, etc.

While the Pzh2000NL and Colt is being worked on, we decided we have enough capability now to start building the Vector SF vehicle.

First WiP screenshots will be posted in the next few weeks! 

 

Additionally we are looking into converting the old OFP models from LLW to Arma3. Main effort in that will be the DAF trucks and Mercedes Benz cars. Hard top and Recon variants.

We had one setback with the Pzh2000NL but we are still verymuch 'on-fire'.

Tonight development of a blast from the past seriously started and we had our first run in Buldozer....the Leusderheide Training area! Near the Bernard kazerne. Home of dutch cavalry.

Very first terrain processor test result. We now understand it's use. The map can be fully vegetated in no-time!

We had a lot of feedback on the Colt C7NLD and since it's last published state, it has been greatly improved. The model has literally been totally overhauled, aswell as the texture. In addition to that, the C8 is getting ready aswell!

@Crielaard Amazing stuff! Seeing that little part of Soesterberg on the Leusderheide map makes me very happy! Being born and raised there after all :don16: Also nice to see the Vlasakkers!

UPDATE

To let the community know what we are doing, here is a little update.

The following info will be backed up with screenshots in a week or two from now! 

 

1. Leusderheide terrain is still being worked on. We now have (very) basic models of the militairy base and buildings from the city of Amersfoort are also being produced. Main effort will be the training area it self though. 

 

2. The 'Middle Brabant' terrain may be restarted, with access to new resources we hope to get quicker results

 

3. Colt C7/C8 is on hold temporarily but is one of the highest on our priority list

 

4. Volks Wagen Amarok is starting to become usable.

We thank Macha for her 3d modeling work.

 

5. Boxer MRAV is unexpectedly started by one of the modellers and is progressing stunningly quickly. This vehicle is planned to be of 'Tanks DCL quality' 

 

6. CV90's interior is being worked on. This one is also planned to be 'Tank DLC quality' 

 

7. Pzh2000NL is still being modelled and progressing well. It will not have any interiors. But we are designing ammo and configs to make it operatable close to its reallife capabilities. We are also considering a custom Artillery computer. 

 

8. The CH-47F Chinook project has fully restarted

 

9. NEW: AH-64E Apache Guardian. Is a project to overhaul the current LLW Apache mod and implement this new Apache variant the RNLAF is going to use more. The base of the project remains the same: Use vanilla arma functions smartly to get as close to reality as practical. 

 

Looking for help

To finish our modpack at the end of the day, we need dutch uniforms and equipment. That is what we are missing... 

Any modders who would like to participate are welcome. Any modpack who are willing to exchange or simply donate assets please please contact me! 

 

Testers

Don't bother asking for early access. Join 103SF and you may end up as a guinnypig to test one of the mods. Otherwise, wait until a public release.

The VW Amarok could I get a version MP with lightbar ,hopefully placeable in zeus would like amodule that turns on that lightbar, and radar tank ,if you use such ones?

Work is in progress but not focussed on just one project, thus slow.

 

We can have a walk arround the beast when details need to be updated.

It has been a little quiet and some minor mods have been made in the meanwhile 

 

We are currently reworking some of the AH64 Apache which will be released as a 'Block 3'.

 

The restart of the Middle Brabant terrain has given us massive results, using specific terrain data.

 

Leusderheide has made progress and is being game-tested. The heavy work is still the buildings.

 

The C7 has not been worked on because there is a allready working C7/C8 mod, by @Leon C7NLD. However we do have a stunning Aimpoint which could improve this allready good piece of work.

 

That was it for now.
