bw1231996 11 Posted February 16, 2015 Hey guys, so I have been wondering this for a while and came across this template for a DEVGRU hangar, and inside it; it has a "Lone Survivor Lock and Load" table that I have been wondering how to make. What it is is just a table with a bunch of gear on it including weapons, magazines, helmets etc. I was just wondering if there is an easy way to make this or do I have to do it in the editor piece by piece? There is a picture of it here (it is the 4th picture): http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=26936 Thanks for any help. P.S. Maybe setpos?
fight9 14 Posted February 16, 2015 The easiest way I know of is with BIS_fnc_spawnObjects. Or download that template and see how that guy did it.
epicgoldenwarrior 11 Posted February 16, 2015 Magazine attachTo ["table",[0,0,0]]; may or may not need ", and you'll need to fiddle with numbers.
Belbo 461 Posted February 16, 2015 I do this kind of stuff in Zeus with MCC: You can fiddle with attachTo and stuff afterwards in the editor.
R3vo 2652 Posted February 16, 2015 I use attachTo for things like that. Just give every item a name. Hit preview and optimise the placement. I guess there is no easier/better way to do it until the 3d editor gets released (I've never use MCC so I don't know how good that works).
jshock 512 Posted February 16, 2015 I have this example mission that doesn't use attachTo or Zeus/MCC, but instead uses the objects elevation (in conjunction with enableSimulation) to set it "on" the table: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vmoh7ko5lxuqlfu/Laptop_Table_example.Stratis.7z?dl=0 http://i.imgur.com/xQIrD7Q.jpg (132 kB)
