I'd like to mention (and request) that the reticle for the TA31RCO is not correct - in the file description you wrote, the reticle is provided by the user "Alvarez". This "bug" (or is it intentional?) is also present in the FHQ Accessoires Mod:

 

When the scope is pointed on a bright spot (e.g. against the sunlight, the sky or flares), the correct reticle shows up: (the red chevron is exactly in the middle of the reticle, like it should)

However, once the scope is pointed on a spot with normal brightness/darkness conditions (e.g. a tree), the chevron in the middle disappears and is replaced by *four* chevrons of the same shape with each one shifted slightly left, right, below left and below right, respectively, of the point where the original chevron (see Picture 1) was:

My First Question is: (directed to User "Alvarez") is that a mistake or is it intentional? (the latter case in order to avoid licence conflicts with the owners of these weapon optics...)

 

The Second Question/The Request is: can You fix this "bug" or request "Alvarez" to fix it or may I fix it myself?

 

The 2nd Request: The "Trijicon Reflex" also comes in variants with a green dot reticle:

 

Trijicon RX30-C : ("RX30" is the Standard variant with amber dot)

I'd be very happy, if You could include the variant with bright green dot in your next release - the amber dot... well, it both looks like ass (not your fault...) and probably also performs like ass in very bright or very dark environments (again, not your fault...)

 

Likewise for TA31RCO and TA31F-RMR, there are versions with green chevron (TA31RCO-M150CP-G and TA31F-G-RMR, respectively) available - it would be awesome, if You could add those in the next release:)

This is a bug with Arma 3's kind of crappy depth of field blur post-processing effect. It affects BIS' 3D scopes like the ARCO as well (or at least it used to)

Nothing that any addonmaker can do to fix it AFAIK.

 

Turn off DOF blur in your graphics options and it wont do that weird spreading reticle thing

Yes , Turn off Bloom and DOF that will fix it

 

unfortunately , i don't have a RX30 aka the larger Trijicon reflex but i could do those green chevrons that isn't a issue but we will see

 

btw that's Alwarren not "Alvarez" , you can check that in first post

Okay, turning off DOF fixed that bug - thx!

 

@Trijicon Reflex: so the model in your pack is the RX34? As far as I checked, that model truly comes only with an amber dot - no red or green dots available for this model.

 

And just to remind You, if You are planning to include a Trijicon Reflex with a green dot, I quote my previous post:

you "assume" that everyone knows this.  Being correct in format especially when it comes to coding and the understanding of things is "nerdy"? that like saying, History, "bah... who cares about the details....".

I was happening to look at your mods (everyone on BI and Armaholic posts that reversed order [for whatever reason]) I just happened to see your mod as the last of about 25 I was looking at.  So by the time I saw the posting I was like "fuck sake" and posted about it.  Nothing to do with you personally.  Your mods are brilliant.

INSTALLATION :

Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in:
64-Bit - C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/
32-Bit - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/
After extraction it should look like this:
Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/@your_mod_folder_name
You can also use the "Arma 3" folder in your "My Documents" folder.

You'll also need add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 and
click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name
For using multiple mods you would then do so like this:

-mod=@mod_name;@mod_name2;@mod_name3;@mod_name4

RH i get an error when trying to add this mod to my Arma 3 Client with the "Local Mod" Option. unless you have uploaded this mod to steam workshop. I don't know why it's not working. the error tells me. "There is is mod in this folder" ! what can i do to fix this ?.

Please DO NOT QUOTE RELEASE POST WITH PICTURES.

 

As to your question, make new mod folder in your arma 3 directory, inside make addons folder and keys folder, place pbos and bisigns in addons folder and key file in keys folder then try to add that mod folder to your mod library via arma 3 launcher local mods tab.

 

As RobertHammer stated numerous times this mod won t be uploaded to Steam Workshop. If it is there it was uploaded illegally and should be DMCA ed.

This is an extremely old and outdated mod, you wont find support for it anymore.

The RAR file just doesn't have the folders but all the files are there - after you extract it, manually make a new "addons" folder inside that, and move the PBO and BISIGN files into it...working me me for last 5 years
