Missing File(s) need help

Hy,

I'm new here, so be gentle.

I have a Problem with Arma 3 , I can't start the game because of "Addon CHN_Urban' requires addon 'CAData"

I have no Idea what I need, can't find the files, was looking on google for chn_urban, Cadata etc, but nothing.

My last downloaded content was "minihattan"

I removed the files, but the message is still there.

so maybe someone could give me the files please or a link to these files ? :bored:

Should post it on the addon's thread. As the author knows the most about their work. But a quick glance at his thread revealed it's a common bug right now.

Yes, the Hotel and a few other buidlings is missing geometry on the floors which makes grenades fall through. But it has Fire geometry which stops the bullets.

Will fix soon enough. I had it removed since it seemed to prevent the AI from going there.

Yes, so far there is no more destruction added except the Hotel. And it should be two possible pieces to blast away.

This version is mostly bugfixes, but I left that experimental destruction in for testing.

Which buildings are still falling through the ground? All other buildings or just a few?

Yes, Charons Urban pack requries CAData, but they way I implemented it I don't use that config anyway.

So I will ask Charon if I would be allowed to modify or remove the config.

Most likely haven't removed all the files related to that addon. My advice if your in doubt, is re download the map, look at the pbo names, and search your addon folder for them. Delete. Should get you squared away

CaData is an old declaration I think and removed from the current list of CfgPatches in Arma 3.

You could either ignore it, or depbo and remove it from the required list of requiredAddons[] in the config.cpp.

Or tell the author and see if he/she can update.

Okay , looks like so far the game still works when I ignore the message, But I'll take a look soon/give feedback to the author.
