[WW2] 101st Airborne, 506th PIR, 2nd Battalion, Dog Company

Recommended Posts

Who we are...
We are the 101st Airborne, 506th PIR, 2nd Battalion, Dog Company!
An authentic realism unit that plays to learn, teach, win and have fun. We are the original 101st Airborne, Dog Company from Invasion 1944.

We moved on to ArmA 3 in October 2014, but just recently got bored of all modern stuff and we want to get back to the good old days.

What we do...

We are currently using various mods including Iron Front for an immersive WW2 experience!

We intend to move over to Face of War as soon as it has been fully released.

We host both closed operations for members only, and public missions every month that is based on a real life armed conflict in any era where people can sign up and take part.

How to sign up and what happens after signing up...
After signing up, your application will be reviewed by a Recruiting Liaison. Once accepted, you will receive your Trainee tag and may start your Training on a given date.
Basic Combat Training, which will be focused on integrating you into the unit - Teamwork and how to work the game and mods. After BCT, you will be concidered a full member of the unit and you will receive your screaming eagle patch and jump wings.
Airborne School, which will help you improve as a soldier. We might all think that we're the best, even myself, but the Airborne School will improve us all. Remember that all wars and battles are different.

We do require you to be at least 17 years old (16 if proven mature), or that you are well known by unit staff since before.

Unit info has been updated 2016-02-01

We have for a while now been working on the internal logistics of the unit as well as integrating new members.
The unit is now stable and has all the trainings written and ready to be executed fully. Our first Jump Wings have been given out to those who completed Jump School last weekend.

We are in the search for future Non-Commissioned Officers and Officers to lead our unit to victory against other units.

If you are interested in becoming one of our strong leaders, talk to 2nd Lt. C. McHellsten.

With War Chronicles out of the picture as a WW2 modification we instead look forward to Faces of War.

The group is growing slow but sure and we will start focusing more on facing other groups in the near future!

We are looking for highly skilled as well as new players. We need high standards on our members due to regular Player vs Player events with other units. We want to be the best!
