- updated muzzle flashes on m113's to A3 standards

- added rotating effect to zu23 muzzle flashes

- animated uzi (it unfolds when you select it, unless you take the folded version uns_uzi_f, which only unfolds on weapon rest)

Hello UNSUNG-Team. I am following your Project awhile now and i am really impressed. I wondered if you can use this model. I have, at this point, no idea from models an textures and what works in ARMA 3.

thanks carlos, that's a very kind offer.

we already have a new jeep model awaiting conversion to p3d, so we wouldn't be able to use this one you linked, unfortunately.

 

here's a list of suitable vehicles that might be found in the conflict

models of the M42 and M50 go for $150-$200 on turbosquid. so we really need a good modeler (or texture artist for the m50 ontos) to build these new.

Good to hear what you all got comming. I will start learning Blender and see what i can do.

By the way, are you aware of this website? There are plenty of free good models, i hope it is legal. They "just" need proper texturing (and animiation/config of course) http://www.cadnav.com

having looked through the site they probably are a basic mesh made for scale model work, so they won't have many vertices, and very low-res texture maps. probably best avoided tbh.

i downloaded the M42 to see if it's any good. will let you know.

- Type 63 APC ready for testing, adding physx

- T34 / T54 / T55 tanks almost ready for testing, adding physx

 

updated F4e
- removed previous cockpit, pylons and afterburner models
- installed aplions cockpit and pylons
- rebuilt proxies for bombs
- set up wreck
- set up skin and ico folders
- repathed models and rvmats
- split config out for work to commence on it

- finished rewriting config

 

to do:

- add A3 parts to model (muzzle flash, lights, etc)

- rebuild the afterburner

- check model.cfg (esp cockpit anims)

- test proxy locations for weapons

- may need to rebuild certain racks/ fuel tanks/ weapons

thank you Unsung team, really enjoy your Mod.  I'm just starting to fiddle with the mission editor.  Hope one day to be able a post a few up, (I've got an active imagination)   :P

k50 SMG now has new animations:
- sliding stock (when selected)
- animated sling (changes shape to match the stock extension)
- animated fire selector
- animated magazine bullets
- animated mag switch, and magazine translation during reload
- animated rear sight and eye point
- animated trigger and bolt
- animated muzzle flash

 

done similar to vz sa58v,

folding version - stock folds along side of weapon when unselected.

pre-folded version - stock unfolds when weapon rested

Also, I'm about 98% certain you have your isSelected animation the wrong way around, 0 should be folded and 1 un-folded

AK47, SA58, Type 56 and AKM family animations complete:

 

now have new animations:
- fire selector
- magazine bullets
- mag switch, and magazine translation during reload
- rear sight and eye point
- trigger and bolt
- muzzle flash

- folding version (AKS AKMS): stock folds underneath weapon when unselected.

- pre-folded versions: stock unfolds when weapon rested

Hi Folks,

Look'n Good...

Question: can you script a dust off mission? Meaning - are the tools available to script AI to physically pick up the wounded from some consolidation point and load them into a medivac helicopter you are piloting after you land at some LZ ?

Just wanna say how awesome this mod is.  Pissed I didn't find it sooner.   Great works guys! 

 

Ran thru most of the missions myself, now if I can convince my clanmates to jump in the Huey!

been working through the objects and buildings this week - having a sort out

they now look much cleaner in the editor

 

reorganised the civilian huts into different types

brought back some old models that needed debinning and repairing etc

fixed up the myriad MASH and supply tents we had, so only the ones in support class do repair/ heal. This should help with porting maps that use the same models.

 

also made a new hangar interior from the old one

- added repair/rearm/refuel function

- added eye-candy posters

- added working clutter including bombs, ammo boxes, gash can, generator, radio, tables, fuel drums, etc

- added roadway lod to top of containers

- added ladder to exterior so you can climb onto the roof

- added sandbags to corners
