As it is a non-root server.... i can't tell you. But i guess its linux.

I can control this server only via webinterface.

Hi, thank you for the release. Great fps

Would higher detail groundtextures or something like landtex for this island be a possibility in the future?

I'm getting this error when I teleported to the dino island

cannot open object ibr\ibr_dinopark\ice_zoofence.p3d

Does someone have problems with the serverkey too ?

I have tried to run the island on our server but the key makes it stuck.

Does it work when you disable signature verification? If you are using linux make sure the pbo files are lowercase. So rename Panthera.pbo to panthera.pbo.

Changelog for upcoming update:

- fixed carwreck location (059093)

- ice_zoofence warning eliminated

- replaced couple of houses with new A3 ones on far south

- new factory in Porto Ritmo

- fixed runway markings to correct specs (magnetic azimuth of the runway's heading in decadegrees)

Here is a short list of Bugs/misplaced buildings on Panthera Park island.

North Docks

- Building inside another building. GRID: 091003

- When inside poolhouse you must vault to get up stairs when entering NW building (the one facing the pool). GRID: 085014

- Ammo bunker is not extending into the hill (not sure if intended but thought i should mention) GRID: 081011

- Guard tower facing wrong direction (once again not sure if intended but where it is currently facing is into a tree, while if it faces the other way its looking onto the road). GRID: 095031

That is all i found so far on Panthera Park, i intend to have a look around main island and see if i find something there. If i do i will make a new post.

edit:

River Crossing GRID: 093018

- Certain low riding vehicles (engine close to ground) engines die when crossing this river (all BI vehicles cross just fine). Guess this should be directed more att the car modders but raising the crossing a bit might help (tested with RHS, RHS humvee's cannot cross).

Main Island

Porto Ritmo

- Bush inside building (north of hotel) GRID: 090075 (not sure if intentional)

Bled

- Water of lake Bled cannot be seen from inside certain buildings. GRID: 077052

These 4 buildings are the culprits. In building 1-3 the water could be seen when the windows were destroyed (so windows are most likely the cause), building 4's windows could not be destroyed or fired through (invisible wall). Demonstration pictures taken at building 4.

Awesome map, I do have one question however: will this map ever or your future maps be independent from AIA TP? As AIA TP is quite big and we're trying to get our repository down to a reasonable size, it would be awesome to have a few true ArmA 3 maps - independent from ArmA 2 assets.

It may not be what you are looking for with this but anyways...

Could you flesh out the steep hills more with large boulders to counter the fact that steep hills in arma are a mere nuisance to travel?

The rocks and boulders would also bring visual fidelity to the hills and mountains.

Looks nice, I think the forests require a bit more cover, stone rocks and logs or something. Playing against accurate headless client is impossible on this map :( Moar Arma 3 style cover!

i noticed some issues trying to drive ifrits and humvees thru the gates at the panthera park not the main gate but the secondary gates an ifrit wont go thru but suv's and sedans and offroads will go thru fine humvee hafm/RichardD's and the RHS ones all have issues kind of like threading needle

Currently impossible to replace all the stuff! I have too much work with other islands...

Biohazard3420, IISwede: hmm, those doors are intended for offroad/pickups only. Dr. Malcolm from Menk Group that is controlling the island Nuba explicitely doesn't allow any military vehicles to enter the paddocks area ;)

IISwede: thanks for the extensive bug report, sadly you are mentioning issues that have not been resolved by devs since the release of A2. I'll try to fix as many as I can. About the river crossings: game has a simulated tide so try changing time ;) anyhow, I've altered Nuba's crossings so they should work at all times.

Well, I've listened to your reports and here is v3.1 that will have to last for a while, since I'm busy with new islands.

Changelog v3.1:

- massive improvement of hills & mountains (rock formations)

- fixed runway markings to correct specs (magnetic azimuth of the runway's heading in decadegrees)

- set up some basic lightning on streets in bigger towns

- ice_zoofence warning eliminated

- replaced couple of houses with new A3 ones

- new factory and warehouses in Porto Ritmo

- upgraded Visitor's Center to Villa structure

- fixed carwreck location (059093)

- removed dual building (091003)

- ammo bunker extended to hill (081011)

- guard tower now facing road (095031)

- tweaked river crossings heights on Nuba
