Russia against international law and bilateral agreements wants to evict Polish consulate ,

as stated in informations:

embassys and consulates do not pay for rent cause it is regulated by international conventions such as Vienna Convention , Polish embassy/consulate in Russia, Russian embassy and consulate in Poland,

but Russians sued Polish consulate (against international law, cause consulate cannot be sued as body/entity, as consulate is not entity to be sued for rent) for money for rent of accomodation/placement

as result they decided to .. evict Polish consulate "for not paying rent"

the same time Russian consulates in Poland do not pay for rent,

Siergei Kovalev: three types of citizens in Russia

Sergei Kovalev believes that the celebration (of Crimea annexation anniversary) is the only way for Putin to convince the nation to the validity of its policies. Dissident explains that for Putin is important to maintain the prevailing hysteria in Russia, which is a disease. According Kovalev, "if the sickness disappears, it will become difficult for Putin and then he will need Gulag".
Oppositionist believes that Putin is still growing popularity among Russians due to the fact that there are three types of people: fanatics, manipulated, intimidated. In his opinion, these groups account for 86 percent of Russian society and shout: Crimea is ours and without Putin there is no Russia. Kovalev explains that only slightly more than 20 percent of Russians support the values of democracy, would support the liberalization of the economy and civil liberties. When asked why dissident says, "simply the Russian soul is a mystery."

(BBC) Crimea annexation: Putin admits sanctions 'damaging'

On the anniversary of Russia's annexation of Crimea from Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin has acknowledged the harm caused by Western sanctions.

He said the measures, imposed on individuals and key economic sectors, were "not fatal, but naturally damage our ongoing work," Interfax reported.

Thousands of Russians gathered for celebrations outside the Kremlin.

The title sounds a bit gonzo.... its not an "annexation deal"

In the main news on german state TV it was titled: - Putin signs treaty for closer cooperation -

It is said the treaty is about a close cooperation for defence and security and economics i.e. customs

------

Only a day before an agreement was announced between the Ukraine and Romania and their political aim to unfreeze the conflict and integrate Transnistria into Moldova.

"We have agreed to coordinate our actions on Transnistria in order to facilitate the unfreezing of the given conflict and help sovereign and independent Moldova regain its territorial integrity and reintegrate the Transnistria region," Petro Poroshenko informed.

Russia rejects U.S. concerns over Vietnam base role in bomber flights (March 13th Reuters)

Reuters reported on Wednesday that the United States had asked Vietnam to stop letting Russia use Vietnam's Cam Ranh Bay for tanker aircraft that have refueled nuclear-capable bombers engaged in shows of strength over the Asia-Pacific region.

“It is strange to hear such statements from representatives of the state whose armed forces are permanently stationed in a number of Asia-Pacific countries and which continues to increase its level of military activity in the region," Russia's Defense Ministry said.

Russia's Defense Ministry said on Jan. 4 that Russian Il-78 tanker aircraft had used Cam Ranh Bay in 2014, enabling the refueling of nuclear-capable TU-95 "Bear" strategic bombers, a statement also reported in Vietnam's state-controlled media.

The ministry said Russian Air Force activities and cooperation with Vietnam were "carried out in strict accordance with international norms and bilateral agreements are not directed against anyone whatsoever and shall not be a threat to peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.â€

On Thursday, U.S. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the United States did not want Russia to use Cam Ranh Bay.

"We have urged Vietnamese officials to ensure that Russia is not able to use its access to Cam Ranh Bay to conduct activities that could raise tensions in the region," she told a regular news briefing.

General Vincent Brooks, commander of the U.S. Army in the Pacific, told Reuters last week the planes had conducted "provocative" flights, including around the U.S. Pacific Ocean territory of Guam, home to major American bases.

Washington is eager to secure greater access itself to Cam Ranh Bay as part of its strategic "pivot" to Asia to counter China's growing strength. U.S. ships have visited for repairs in recent years.

And what is this about ?

My guess would be islamists or someting like that. Apparently the police found some people who had connections to the murder of a police man a few days ago. They negotiated first and the kid that was in the flat was evacuated. Then the militants got killed.

If I may add this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/denmark/11487509/Russia-warns-Denmark-its-warships-could-become-nuclear-targets.html

Russia has gone on the offensive in the Baltic' date=' warning Denmark that if it joins Nato’s missile defence shield, its navy will be a legitimate target for a Russian nuclear attack.

“I don’t think that Danes fully understand the consequence if Denmark joins the American-led missile defence shield. If they do, then Danish warships will be targets for Russian nuclear missiles,†said Mikhail Vanin, the Russian ambassador to Denmark, to the Jyllands-Posten newspaper. [/quote']

I dont think the Danes are surprised by the way... because Denmark was on target through the entire Cold War. Under Kremlin's command Polish People's Republic forces role was to nuke Denmark and Benelux with atomic missiles from the territory of Poland and then storm through land, air and sea - massively...

That is why the Soviet-Polish army had quite good amphibious capabilities

Indeed because the main "defensive doctrine" was based upon the assaulting rather than repelling. For example, In 1965 People's Army of Poland had manpower equal +-300.000 front soldiers and 650.000 of territorial defence. In 1988 Poland had the number 235.000 of active personnel.

Back in the day was the second largest and most powerful force of the Warsaw Pack after the Soviet Union.

You can see in this video a sample of many amphibious vehicles and airborne forces including artillery. Looks impressive but service standards can't be compared to modern day values. Corruption, extreme hazing (Dedovshchina), morale based on fear and propaganda, effectiveness based on muscles and obedience only - typical Soviet standards worked here as well.

(BBC News) Europe far-right parties meet in St Petersburg, Russia

Oh look, they don't meet in Kiev....

Well as a matter of fact, Kiev's gov is quite anti far-right parties (they are now having their own internal political fight against them).

Unlike the Kremlin which is mainly supported by them. Not to talk about Putin himself which has been the most important icon of the European far-right movements since WW2.

(The Huffington Post, Dec '14) Russia Reaches Out To Europe's Far-Right Parties

A Russian loan to France's National Front. Invitations to Moscow for leaders of Austria's Freedom Party. Praise for Vladimir Putin from the head of Britain's anti-European Union party.

As the diplomatic chill over Ukraine deepens, the Kremlin seems keener than ever to enlist Europe's far-right parties in its campaign for influence in the West, seeking new relationships based largely on shared concern over the growing clout of the EU.

(World Affairs Journal, Oct '14) Strange Bedfellows: Putin and Europe’s Far Right

The courtship between Eastern European far-right parties and Russia has been going on for years, of course. In 2008, Eastern Europe’s far right supported the Russian war against Georgia. In May 2013, leaders of Jobbik, the Hungarian far-right party with dubious fascist origins, met with Russian Duma leaders and academics at Moscow State University. The neo-Nazi Bulgarian Ataka party has vocally supported Putin and Russian foreign policy. In 2012, Ataka’s leader, Volen Siderov, traveled to Moscow, reportedly at his own expense, to celebrate Putin’s sixtieth birthday and express admiration for the Russian president’s strong leadership.

The Russian government is now indeed openly supportive of Nazis and Fascists. The parties in the 'Conservative' forum in St. Petersburg deny the Holocaust (or claim the actual deaths are far less), openly praise Hitler (Greek party even has a pseudo-swastika flag and Nazi greeting) and call for deporting all 'non-Europeans' and even non-Aryans.

The best part is that the Russian media is completely quiet about the whole ordeal. I wonder where the Donbass veterans, the so-called 'fascist fighters', were that day.

Russia supports any movement that is weakening European Union - real problem is that European problems are baked by EUrope itself, Russia only makes flame little bigger, Europe do nothing to stop this flame,

what makes me laugh is - when Greeks (dark eyes, black hair) say about aryan, and when right wing (who should be anti-communist, anti-occupants support Russia who was occupying and who has USSR still alive in hearts )

all right wing people i know - are anti-Russian, and hate Hitler,

thinking of European "far right" (or far-left commies) who support Russia is rotfl, it is like non-Germans praising Hitler - always making me laugh, when people support the one who would gas-chamber them because being non-German, really lol, can be only compared to gay or lesbian supporting Islam and rights of Muslim minority to have Sharia here :D

EUropean mainstream looks like self-destructive people without basic survival instinct allowing to raise tensions (because there is problem with immigrants who abuse social care and who do not want to integrate, closing eye will not help, it will only make problem worse because people are frustrated)

it is really mad - Putin says about fighting with fascism - being fascist-like, supporting nazis,

people from nations that were opressed by Hitler praise Hitler,

really crazy and far beyond any logic,

probably only reason to support them is that Putin want to break EU and NATO by supporting any anti-EU movements
