Update 1.34 > Major loss of Server FPS on dedi servers

I am a bit surprised that no else has posted about FPS issues. I joined a community event tonight (nopryl.no). Mission with 14 clients, 45-50 enemies, avarage number of objects. Normally this should run 35-50 FPS. Tonight we ran at 9-15 FPS.

I decided to test a mission that we tested with 1.32 the night before @ 50FPS with 2 clients. Tonight with same specs, same modeline and 2 clients 28-34 FPS.

I am at loss for words.... I mean did we really just go back a whole year with MP performance????

Anyone else have similar experiences?

Nothing changed on the server:

Before the update: 64 Player 50 Server FPS

After the update: 64 Player 34 Server FPS

GOOD JOB Bohemia Interactive... How are you testing your features? Four Developer in a LAN-Party?

I find really no words for it.

is there AI in the mission?

@Sjaba can inform you re the Nopryl mission we played on Tue.

The mission we used to test was a custom MP mission made for SHAPE-ARMA:

Addons: http://play.withsix.com/Arma-3/collections/h6c92ulrtkqMMdixqzMaiA/SHAPE-Campaign-2014-v4-4

AI's: Spawned during mission init and spawn on demand, total AI's present after 5 min: approx 105

Heli's (pre DLC) used: yes (Opfor/AI controlled)

We tested above mission with 2 clients using A3 1.32 and got 48-50 FPS. The next day we tested the same mission, same modline, same server, same everyting with A3 1.34 and the result was 20-33 FPS.

If you want to mission than pls advice where to drop it

OK I am not alone with low FPS issues. Dwarden I already informed you about something strange regarding FPS.

I would prefer you create Arma 3 Feedback Tracker ticket with this issue and upload the mission in question into it

with the questions i asked as answered

then post URL to that ticket here

Will only add that even single player have FPS drops.

Now that's pretty fucking vague, isn't it?

Something is changed in MinErrorToSend and MinErrorToSendNear. I think, this is the Server FPS issue...

Vehicle Desync gone but Server FPS too.

yea now that u mentioned it I haven't encounter any flipping/twerking vehicle over 1.5km

Can people please post their server.cfg values for comparison?

In our smaller session (<20 players) I didn't notice a massive perfomance loss; 50 SFPS with a bit more than one hundred AI present. Will have a closer look during our main session with about 40 players.
