So we have the Coyote and the Jackal will we see the Ridgeback and the Mastiff or any other britsh vics maybe like sea vics like reading craft or transport and so on

Yes for the Ridgeback, Land Rovers, Chinook, Apache, Wildcats and Merlin. Possibly the Mastiff. We'd like to include a C130, C17, Harrier, F35 and Puma. We do have a potential source for the Challenger - and other goodies - if Burnes is kind enough to release his source files. As for the raiding craft, we've had a discussion with a modeller about including his work. Hopefully we will be able to get it in game but no promises. As for everything else I've mentioned, the only issue is time.

Hey fellas,

 

Just curious what fast roping and sling loading scripts you 3CB guys use?

 

I love ZLT's fast roping script but I don't have the coordinates to add the Wildcat and Merlin to the script for fast roping in British missions.

 

Would love if you guys could supply me with those..and suggest a solid sling loading script as well.

 

I look forward to the additions of the Chinooks and Apaches to this mod.

Hey autigergrad, not sure what you mean about the sling loading script. Our helicopters use / will use the BIS sling load ability in the game, not a 3rd party script. As for Fast Roping, we intend to implement the ACE3 Fast Rope ability on all of our helicopters when it is released as it is currently a work in progress. You shouldn't have too long to wait to see the Apaches and Wildcats though as we are now just working on the last couple of issues raised in our final testing round.

These pictures show how commander slot doubled for Jackal. Two men can sit at one place. Looks like same thing happens with gunner slot. I just didn't check it again.

One slot has access to control the gun, 2nd (if at doubled slot) man can't do it.

JDT, we have had several reports of this bug, but have never been able to reproduce it within our test environments.

 

Can I ask which mods you were running, when this occurred.

First time i found it two weeks ago or so... After weekly update of server (where i playing) mod pack.

Also, mod list really big so i need time for that.

hey guys if you haven't yet started on the landrovers you are welcome to have my mlods of the A2 versions with added Brit kit. 

They have 50cal, gimpy, HK GMG, brit skins and markings, useable animated spare tyres and fuel cans, removable roofs, walkable rear deck, camo nets, and opening rear door.

We have a fully modified bis lynx (doors, cameras, doorguns, seats, stretchers, etc) chieftain (brooks), a CVRT (scorp and scim) and bulldog (vilas) and warrior in our A2 mod too.

chieftain needs UV mapping but is an amazing model, our uv mapper is tied up in RL issues. can you locate someone who can do this for the model? if so you could probably have it i'm sure brooks would be ecstatic to finally see it in game

CVRT is basic and i plan to add cages and nets to it soon. weapons are all properly configged 1:1 tracer on co-ax and good rarden rounds and firing modes. we have animated cage armour that defeats an RPG but not a Tandem HEAT missile

however that guy joined the army and took his model with him so i'll need to be working on this model for a bit to bring it up to that standard

 

i also made some extras on the wildcat which you could likely just copy and paste to your model if you wanted to:

it has proper side facing cabin seats (have any of you been in a lynx that has central cabin seats facing forward? may just be my limited experiences but every lynx i ever flew in had them facing out), gpmg and gau21 options and proxies for hellfire, rockets, etc

did just test to reproduce this error with Jackal and you know what, it is not reproducible !

 

buddy you have nerves, you use a trillion of addons and start here complaining about... wtf :blink:

dude you need really learn how to test addons for possible errors, disable one by one your trillions of addons until you find the culprit of this error

just from overlooking this freaking long list I found several of them are horrible outdated

 

there is absolute no error nor double entries of seat positions with the Jackal using only 3CB BAF addons !

your error is 100% caused from one outdated or horrible configured addon and not by 3CB BAF

@JDT It is undoubtedly a conflict with another mod. We haven't reproduced the issue running 3CB mods, plus a couple of extra major addons like ACE3, RHS, CBA_A3, Leights Opfor, AIA Terrain etc... It is likely that the issue is being caused by one of the other mods in the repo you are using. If you could run a few tests for us by gradually removing some of your mods and seeing if / when the issue disappears, that would be a great help. Once the cause is narrowed down, we can look at fixing the problem for you.

the error is sitting in front of PC... loading a freaking long list of addons. :rolleyes:

 

guys like him are hilarious, I am a mission builder,

one time in a mission I did a guy was claiming errors, I did start to search for errors... but there where no errors
then after hours of wasting time and effort...
the guy mentions: btw I load these addons ... then comes a freaking long list of addons  :blink:

@maquez: I am not sure why you are getting so animated about this. As I stated above, the issue is undoubtedly a conflict with another mod. We don't have a lot of spare time to devote to this particular issue, however, if JDT is prepared to help us by working through his mod repo and locating the cause of the conflict, that is great. Identifying the mod clash allows us to look at it and our vehicle pack to see what causes the problem. If it is something we have done, we can correct it. If it is a fault in the other mod, we can give feedback to the person that created the other mod in case they aren't aware. It would be one more error fixed.

 

If not, well, we have plenty of other modding work to be getting on with. :D

Love the mod, guys! It's like RHS: BAF. Looking forward to having the Apache Longbow soon. I was wondering, is it possible to edit both Wildcat models to replace the skids with more realistic wheels? It's possible to edit vanilla BI models, surely?
