Veteran mod (VTN) - announcement and WIP

Really nice work. I must say i am absolutely impressed. For me VTN mod is like another awesome RHS module. Oldschoole and Marines!!!! Keep it up!!

I like the "beaten up" look of the VTN vehicles so far - really hoping for more of that "DIY w. blue duct tape" look - not the "out-of-the-factory" parade stuff :don8:

 

War is a dirty business and combat vehicles ought to look like they've seen some shit :f:

Well, in Devbranch there are changes to physx of tracked vehicles (it finally come true!). Are you planing to release your tracked miracles?

Ive downloaded and had a look, and just want to say great job, love all the models and detail thats gone into them.

 

One bug to report, it places a mod dependency for "vtn_core_init", on my missions that have nothing to do with the mod? which means i cannot use the mod.

 

Also does this work in Alive? i searched the thread and couldn't find any info, is there a class list for the factions? i

Awesome, thanks for that.

 

If i can just mention again, can you guys please look at the dependency issue when you have time, VTN places mod dependency for "vtn_core_init" on my missions, ive got lots of missions and ive had to go through and manually remove it from mission.sqm, because of this i cannot use the mod.

Is there anyway to disable/remove-from-files the non-zoom?

The mod is amazing, it's just the non-zoom ruins it for me. :P

Hey guys, I've noticed the following error when I use your mod with IFA3Lite. Every time a bullet hits a chest rig, or a backpack, the following error pops up:

I'm fairly familiar with the VTN damage event handlers. The code is written to try and accommodate all carriers and backpacks and stuff; however, it is geared to really only consider their gear. Basically, if VTN, if not. I'm assuming the one of the two mods is missing a parameter in the gear that the VTN scripts need. So the script is getting a string instead of an int.

Hello DEV team. I want express my thanks for your hard work . Just now have finished the campaign with VTN . It's was amaizing hardcore experience , and i was wonder when i'v been injured , and my friendly AI has heal me under havy combat environment . Only one thing has confused me  . The medical action is very linear , I  should doing certain  steps for finishing my healing , and just few  second needed for injecting morphin , i can't cancel any of action during my healing , when i finish with healing it's to long transition to playable stance , On this stage medicine is perfect for AI , but not for players .I hope it's just earlier version and you will improve this . Thank you for the great modification , this is the right way  that Arma should be .
