@cero 0 Posted September 17, 2002 Hi all,@cero here How about all this addons from UCE and Kegetys to be updated to Resistance so we can use the handguns on them without the weapons desapearing from the units hands? However, I been working a lot in ma few winter missions and I can´t belive that no one had made any units that can work fine with Resistance, I found that if you wanna use the new handguns from Resistance you just get an empty space, so how about updating the old ones and creating some new ones like a mountanier squad or something like that? Is a lot of things to add to our winter missions and I´ll come with them soon anyway, like some new frossssssty buildings, that would be COOL Later all. @CERO. It would have been better to have them work on their own. I certainly don't want to use all those other packs. I've made a modified version of the UCE Middle East addon that uses Keg's RPG-7's and that is set to "EAST" but unfortunately it overwrites the exhisting UCE addon as I've not figured out how to rename the texture paths and stuff so I can make it a seperate addon. I also took out the UCE East weapons pack weapons from the units and replaced them with standard BIS weapons so you don't need to use the UCE weapons pack (which I think didn't added much and was just wasted memory space). I believe that soviet troops, regular, plus Spetznaz are needed with followings items : -Camo faces -Jungle hats -Helmets, new kevlar ones or Titanium ones for Spetznatz, or at last new texture like camo cover for steel helmets.
