Question about IA and Smoke

Hi, i have a question about the effect that the smoke granades make to the IA. If a ia soldier see me, and then i throw a smoke granade, the smoke affect the shooting precission of the IA? If a soldier can´t see me, and i throw several smoke granades (generating a smoke screen) i can use this as a cover?
