Very well done map. Thank you for your time and effort. I can see a few SF type missions on this one.

FYI: The trees in the road, which Sparfell mentioned, are at Grid 058968

Is this compatable with ALIVE? Is this the first & only Community made Island for Arma3? It looks amazing.

To answer my own question... No, It doesnt work with Alive :(

After many atempts with minimal spawning units it just freezes on load screen.

Great looking map nonetheless.

I started to fix bugs but do not hesitate to go back to other problems.

@Jinker: I also think that the lights are too strong. I try to find a solution to have a more diffuse light.

@edfathead: sorry but I do not know how to make my map comptablie with ALIVE.

Very nice! I love those lush groves, the thick forests in the north and the overall feeling of this island. Admittedly, I've never heard of Imrali before, but I'm already hooked - although I've never seen an island with descriptions on the ground :D:

As long as your map follows BIS standards for town naming, locations, etc it should work. I've added a feature request for it to be added to the ALiVE index.. so probably available in the next ALiVE public release.

Maybe try Google Translate before calling it "description"?

That says "The nation is inseparable" or "Our homeland is inseparable". Obviously it doesn't have the same effect in English, but it's a common thing in Turkey, since every single piece of land, specially those islands weren't easy to keep when you're fighting against WW1 allies.

I made some research about İmralı after this map came out and yes it should be. Most military bases and schools also have this slogan on a mountain side, even with flowers and stuff in schools (contributed to one in Elementary). Written on the walls with graffiti during the protest last year. It's some type of a obvious national slogan with a little history. An absurd example of something close to it whould be would be "God bless America", it's somewhat close to it.

i do believe that the lighting configs for this map need some work.. outside of that its a GREAT map.. I LIKE IT!!! THANK YOU!!!

yea at night the light seems to be too bright from flashlights to streetlights... thats the only way to describe it.

to see what im talking about just open stratis and place a unit down with a flashlight, make it night and preview.

Then do the same on Imrali. youll see that the light from the flashlight is much brighter then on stratis

For the second writing to the bottom left, it says "Nation/ Homeland comes first". I realize it sounds a bit stupid but the word "vatan" isn't really something translatable.

EDIT: Also Cirav we took lots of pictures for the "Turkish Armed Forces Mod" in your island, if it ever gets released are you fine with us using those screen shots right? Of course the mod will definitely have İmralı featured as an optional addon.

Great map, really enjoyed exploring it.

Noticed that you had some extensive rock formations with just rock, is there anyway to add a little clutter in there or small bushes and trees, you see that quite commonly. Also I noticed around the shore some great rock formations, but they literally stop on the edge of the water, would it be an idea to extend them down a little, make that seaborne insertion a little more tricky for us marines ?

Anyway keep up the good work - I though the Ground Art was an inspired touch by the way....

Just a heads up Cirav, we have inlcuded Imrali support in ALiVE 0.8 release. I have really enjoyed using Imrali making quick little ALiVE missions so far - keep up the good work!

That's great news. Did you manage to improve a bit lightings ? In 1.0, the nights are very very dark, sometimes even with NVGoggles you can't see shit. As a consequence we were forced to play our night missions with full moon.
