Is anyone aware of if there is a possibility to remove the debug type text that shows up in chat when anything is placed onto or picked up from the ground to/from the players inventory?

Ah yes, this is sometihng I've been meaning to fix but forgot lol. Its a result of eventhandlers added by the EODS_Suit pbo. If you remove that pbo from the folder (assuming you dont plan on using it) then it will remove the messages for now. I will get this sorted in the next release :D

This mod looks very nice. I have been looking for a good EOD mod for awhile. I have one question tough is it possible to get false positives with the mine detector. For example will it give of a signal if there is a tin can or something on the ground. See R3vo's mine detector ( http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=29929 ) for example.(sadly cant find a video that shows this feature of tough)

The mod is awesome! I tested it on our dedicated server and the work on the details and features is truly amazing!

 

That said, I can't seem to be able to move the IEDs with the Talon II more than a few meters away. The bomb always detonate even if I drive cautiously!

I guess it is because of the uneven ground or something but do you think you can do something in the near feature about his issue burnes15th ?

 

Also, I guess the K9 units are far from done, right?

Hey there, just wanted to tell you that i recently joined burnes15th on the eods mod. It will take some time until i publish any update (have to rewrite a lot of scripts). Also for those who wanted ACE3 compatibility check out this video, it's on the way and also other (not announced :P ) features.

 

 

 

Also, I guess the K9 units are from from done, right?

 

No plans on doing that at the moment due to problems with the ai :(.

The ACE 3 compatibility is great.

 

Is it possible to integrate some more features:

- an option in the random IED module for TAOR or Blacklistmarker

- type of IED

I do not give permission for PWS to distribute my contributions to this mod. PWS does nothing to support mod makers and i will not support their endevours just like i will not support Steam Workshop.

I've found that the random IED module does not work via multiplayer when used with other mods (I can post them if you would like but mainly RHS, Alive, ACE).  Also ive found that the RG31 also does not appear in the unit list if you use JBAD buildings.  Strong work by you and your team either way!

I am not having any problems with EODS IED's spawning on my server with RHS, MCC, ACE and quite a few other mods running.

I'll double check and make sure that they weren't MCC IEDs, but I am pretty sure they were not.

As far as the RG31s?  I have them spawning on my Diyala map, which uses JBAD.  I'll see if they are in the Zeus or MCC unit lists for spawning.

Pressure plates :) awesome.

I use alive, ace, RHS, leights opfor, caf ag, spider add-ons, rds civ cars, all with eods and I have no problems as far as I can tell. (Apart from the conflict that forces me to remove suit pbo).

I still dont get the hate towards play with six wouldn't it be better to allow hosting so more communities that use play with six only for their modpacks can enjoy your excellent mod?
